I found this same watch but a soviet era version (has CCCP instead of Poccnr on the dial) in my grandfather's old suitcase. I can set the time but the date dial won't budge unfortunately. I took it to a watch repairman and he said he can't repair it though as they don't make the parts any longer? I was wondering if any of you good internet folks would know someone able to repair said watch?

Just ordered one of these from Optics Planet. An upgrade from my old Romeo MSR red dot. That and I'm finding out I don't like the LPVO I got which is sort of a bummer considering what even the budget Sig Tango MSR costs but the eye relief is terrible on those things. A red dot with a magnifier is the way to go it seems, for me at least.

Wish I had the same luck as did by all commenting here. I fell in love with this small but bright little flashlight and it was everything you said it was. However carrying it EDC after a year it quit working. I went through all the trouble shooting steps but could not find the reason it quit. Its a real shame because it held up good looking at the exterior body but its now a candidate for the trash can. I’ve searched for a DIY fix video for this lite but found none.

Really not a good idea to go poking around with your fingers in there. The oils from your skin will corrode the metal parts over time. Much better to use a set of precision tweezers, metal ones for manipulating parts, and some non-conductive ones for handling batteries. Also need to be very careful to stay away from those coils you can see. The slightest nick to one of those and they are knackered.

The noisy rotor actually adds character to the watch. Laco watches are also known for noisy rotors and I love it. Brings out the raw rugged aspect in a watch
