Re holsters: Some holsters will allow the picatinny rail to lock into the holsrer channel even if the holster is made for another gun. I have an FN 509 T OWB holster that works quite well. Feels secure, covers the trigger and odly since the holster is made for a slightly larger gun I'm not getting any wear around the sides of the muzzle as is typical with kydex holsters and nitron finished slides. The downshot is there's no compatibility listing - its all serendipity...

Black scorpion makes a few holster for the XM and ships fast. I believe the OWB holster is a drop stype sorta IPSEC holster that may work for you. they also sell a couple AIWB XM holsters. caveat- one is cut for optics, the other is a basic quick-ship that is not optics compatible.

I'd love to see a comparison ballistically between a p365 , the X macro and a semi fullsize ( i.e 3.7 inch barrel) to see if they'res any ballistic trade off for the less recoil .

The EX will mix 'n match with the XL however you can't put a longer barrel in the XM slude due to the inside design of the slide.

$799 for the feature rich P365X Macro seems like a steal, especially when compared to the $1200 P365XL Spectre Comp? Sig Custom Works slide and the X-Series laser stippled grip module, aside of course? 😁

Waiting for the eventual Macro version without the ported slide so I can throw a Griffin Armament comped barrel kit on it. Until then I'm buying those 17 rounders.

I'd say more likely will just be the release of the 17 round mags for sale and the Macro frame. May have to grab an XL and make a Franken gun. But hey, if you can get 17 rounders eventually, the NULL will always work to let you use them before you grab an X Macro frame 😉

I had Capitol standing by at my LGS for when they got one in. Let me tell you. I took this Macro, my 19, 34, 17 and OG 365 to the range. All of those have had work done. Out of the box the Macro is a complete package aside from buying a sight for it I haven’t had to do anything. Between all my guns. This is amazing and is somehow the best combination of all worlds. It’s spicy as fuck

It's in the rotation. Though the current holster I have is trash, thus it doesn't get carried as often as others.

Still primarily run my CZ P10C. Run it in a Harry's Holsters singleton. We don't make the singleton for the X Macro, though, so I had to get one from somewhere else and it's just not as good

Technically, by rule, you could run that in carry optics if you were to throw an optic on it. It doesn’t have an actual compensator and the barrel is not ported which is the ruling for USPSA. They did not contribute the slide having built in ports with a standard, non-ported barrel.

After now running the side car for a week or so... I'll never recommend that holster. One of the most uncomfortable rigs I've ever run.

@@workthetrigger I'm sorry to hear that, I've never run one myself because I don't like the extra mag and it looked like the connector would be an encumbrance .I ended up with the AWIB grey man solutions with mod wing and dual DCC clips. Really liking it, the guy does a good job and it feels like a top end holster. I also added the "BLACK ARCH CONCEALMENT WEDGE - FIRM" from black arch and my rig is right like I want it

The Arex Delta Gen 2 has the same dimensions and features (minus the built in comp) and has been out more than a year. Yet every one is saying the Xmacro or Hellcat pro are revolutionary and new. Oh the Arex is half the price of the Sig or Hellcat. What an I missing?

My first 365 was an XL and then bought an X impulse when it came out. I ended up carrying my X more than the XL. I felt like they were basically the same gun. I don't feel that way now. I got lucky and found a guy selling his Macro grip and mags and put it on the XL slide.

It's an adapter, not an extension. These allow the use of the 17 round magazines from an X Macro to be used in an X or XL frame

I honestly think the 365x macro has the greatest potential to be the new do it all gun to maybe dethrone the G19 for some people. It can be concealed, if a bit bigger, can be used for home defense, and can be used for carry optics in competition. The one area it may potentially be less useful is duty. But holy crap man it looks so cool!

I like it a great deal with one exception that SIG is totaling ignoring these days on all new 365 offerings... WHERE IS the manual safety "option?" There is no reason to not offer it as an option, at least to be able to buy the 3 or 4 pieces from the custom shop. If you don't want it, don't buy it with that option. Full pass until they do so.

Different frame, more skews to stock. They may come out with one, but I doubt it for the higher end stuff. Most people willing to drop 800 on a carry gun either run 1911s, or just aren't concerned about a manual safety on a striker gun.
