Hye. sorry for the late response. I havent tried on R4 but according to the Signma official, it is 15 FPS MAX

I just have one negative about this lens: the lenshood with a screw is just plain stupid. Extra handling to switch lenses, a normal lens hood works fine, this overcomplicates something that not needed fixing. But great piece of gear. On our FX3, FX6 and a7IV (photography) this works flawless

Hey man, thanks for the comment. I do agree, however I think they made it because the hood is quite heavy and after some time that "click" type of locking hoods become loose. I guess Sigma wouldn't go for that for no reason. 🤔

Tamron better.

Seriously?

@@framewithgrain I saw a comparison with the Tamron 70-180 G2. And I like Tamron better in terms of bokeh and depth of the picture, it gives depth and plasticity to the photos. The bokeh of Sigma is too crystalline like taken with an iPhone.

@@framewithgrain Also, the Tamron is more compact and weighs almost half as much

@@framewithgrain Right now I'm choosing between these two lenses, Tamron or Sigma, so that it will last a long time and won't break in a year, or the rubber band of the zoom ring won't come off.
