Ironically, Einstein didn't get recognized as a nice dad. This mean that even if you have such a good foresight and knowledge, you still might not be able to raise your child properly in case you didn't give him the right amount of space to show his view on any topic. Ps. It's said that his child and him just have different view on matter about life philosophy which severed their relation.

Penelope Soto is the jewelry girl and the Judge is Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat. This bond hearing was held in a South Florida Court in 2013. Penelope later apologized to the court claiming to be under the influence. She later completed rehab and charges were dropped. She was 18 when this video was recorded and would be 27 to 28 years old as of 2022. Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat died in 2017 due to cancer. South Florida continues to be plagued with drugs.

He didn't increase the ruling because she said Adios. The judge, Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat, was literally Cuban (he passed in 2017 from prostate cancer at 72). He did it to teach her a lesson. When you're in a courtroom, you're expected to listen to the judge, be respectful, and take it seriously. Remember, they're viewing whether you're guilty or not. And if you do it with an attitude and they see you're not serious, you're not making the situation any better. After the original went viral, he dropped the 30-day sentence after she apologized and said she was willing to attend a drug-treatment program.

@@steelbear2063 if we do not respect people enforcing the law what is the point in following said laws then? As for the “theatrics” it’s simply how it is. You know for example that doctor can make observation without wearing scrubs, mask or gloves? He can physically do it, that’s how they did it before and there will be no risk for the patient. Hell everything I stated before is more for protecting doctor themself. But they don’t. It’s how it is. I for one would be really hard pressed to respect a judge who comes to work in his shorts and Hawaiian shirt.

This was the Penelope Soto case back around 10 years ago. She wasn't exactly rich, she was a moron, though. The awful thing is, she ended up getting basically all the extras wiped after she cried racism against the judge and had an appeal granted for no reason at all, where she behaved in a more appropriate manner, whether because she realised the gravity or because she was finally sober (I'm certain during the hearing there she was on something but afaik they didn't test). She basically got her contempt charge dropped by being a kinda pretty little helpless damsel who played a made up race card... Sad ending...

Uhh, the things I'm reading after just looking up her name don't say anything about an appeal or racism. Four days after the video above, she returned to court after five days in jail and apologized to Judge Rodriguez-Chomat in an appropriate fashion, admitting that her previous behavior was influenced by her being on Xanax and Alcohol; as a result the Judge chose to drop the Contempt of Court charge, allowing her to leave jail. The 10,000$ fine was dropped as a result of completing the court appointed drug recovery program, passing all her drug tests, and attending narcotics anonymous meetings regularly. So, more like good ending for everyone: she learned her lesson and got off drugs. The Judge Rodriquez-Chomat helped to rehabilitate a wayward youth instead of crushing her into the dust, which is a far more sigma move.

Fun fact about the court system here in the DPRK: Based on the Soviet model, we have a three-tier court system. Comprised of the Central Court, provincial court, and county court. Judicial affairs are done by the Central Court. When it comes to the hierarchy of authority, my directives comes above all followed by the Ten Principles for the Establishment of a Monolithic Ideological System (which establishes the behaviors people are expected to follow), Workers' Party directives, Workers' Party charter, and finally the Constitution. Attorneys here are not hired by agencies nor the individual, rather they are selected and assigned by the Choson Bar Association's central committee and pay remunerations to the assignee. For 12 years, we only had a single foreign lawyer (Michael Hay), who won 70 percent of his cases when he represented foreign clients.
