The ONLY exception I could imagine is if those kind of boundaries are already established (this is still consent btw don't assume you have those kind of boundaries if it's not been established yet). Example me and my bestfriend will hold eachother's hands whenever cause we are both comfortable with that. However, we will always ask before hugging, because sometimes we don't want to be touched like that. As someone who tried this mindset in school ("maybe if I'm random I won't be bullied and I might find a gf"), I'm now having to rebuild my notion of personality and undo a lot of rather silly (if not outright creepy AF) habits.
