It is sad that one system is being put against another. And the true responsibility of inequality is not truthfully being addressed. Private sector: people work and pay for healthcare. State sector : working people are being taxed to be able to fund healthcare, what the state does with those funds is not the responsibility of the people being taxed. Why is the working class person and private sector being made to look like the villain. So why fuel the argument always as the have and have not. Both are being paid towards. No person with medical aid does not pay taxes. (Unless the way they make it seem like this is what is happening) Also the way the argument is being made is as if the state is building private hospitals and if you can afford it, you go there. Yes we need equitable healthcare for all. But don’t “lie” to the people to make a divisive argument.
