Indifference is key. My ex narc is also a neighbor. He continues to spy and stalk me over a year after our final break up. Whenever I would see him drive by I would go into a private fit of rage. I felt his spying was a violation of my privacy. Now I look at him as a lonely bored desperate old man. Gas is $5 a gallon and he lives 3 mi away from me and drives out of his way to see what I'm up to. Pretty sad and pathetic considering he could have had me Lock stock and barrel had he played his cards right. Now he's reduced to loneliness and spying. One day he'll see me with his replacement!

This is great, and I'm sooo glad you emphasise at the end that its up to you to end things with the narcissist. Are you ready to give the narcissist strong CLOSURE by walking away, relocating, and blocking them indefinitely? There's really isn't any 'half-way-house' with way with this. You have to totally commit yourself to giving the narcissist and yourself the CLOSURE you need (YOU MUST GIVE THE CLOSURE!!!!!!!). Learning his pattern as each time he found a new supply, these terms didn't last long as he grew older.Detached emotionally, took a step back and watched. If his supply ran out, he became depressed and sullen. Cycles of depression and feel it high when supply was in plenty. It's quite a show to watch. Don't take them seriously...maintain a happy attitude and move forward ....they eventually burn our and desinagrate before your eyes.

I accept responsibility for what I went through. I saw good in the narcissist and thought I could help her grow, but she was almost ashamed of showing her good side. I fucked up, I did everything to get my ex back when she discarded me, I begged, I ass kissed, I cried, I served her like a slave, I took emotional abuse, I just wanted things to be the way they were so bad. I didn't realize that she was over me. I thought she was being manipulated to leave me, I thought she was tricked by someone. I was in denial, I couldn't accept being discarded line trash by someone I loved. N when I got her back. She didn't want it clearly. That's why years later she left again. You can't change someone's feelings for you. It's best to let those feelings fade rather then force them like I did. I just couldn't let go. But if I would of, I would of been the one that got away. Which means my ex would of forever longed for me. But since I made a bad choice of taking her back. She just reassured herself that I wasn't good enough. N she left again.

@@matthewkeim she left for someone else on year 3 suddenly out of the blue, put me in a state of shock, but the worst part was how her personality changed, she acted like a stranger, referred to me as "buddy" . Had zero emotions. Like it wasn't even her. I got her back by taking every bread crumb, constantly coming to her rescue when she called, never giving up haha. But let's be real, the only reason she came back was because they didn't work. N reverb after that she was still taking to him. I don't know wtf I was thinking but I was trauma bonded. When I finally got her, she was nasty. Took two more years for her to go back to the way she was. I thought I saved us. We had a baby. Ay year 8 she started getting aggressive n agitated again. Then left again. Kicked me out of my house in a chaotic manner, n secretly moved another new guy in. I don't regret my daughter. I blame myself for the suffering I went through. I just hope karma exists
