Because you feel your transmission shift does not mean its bad. With some transmissions ( like the 4L60E ) its actually the opposite. You want to feel that transmission shift, once it feels like butter its going out.

The 4T65E transmission that I have you can feel the sifts mostly feel second and third. It’s not rough but more of a tiny thumb into the next gear. If you let off the gas slightly and know when the car shifts you sometimes don’t feel it.

Yea my truck sometimes when I start and hit gas I get nothing. Then it goes and no problem after that. I’m hoping it’s my fluid or one of the things you said at the end.

So I have an is300 and a code p0715 came up and now my car won’t turn on and I changed the speed sensor. The car had no check engine light until it gave out. I have a new throttle body , fuel pump, alternator, and starter is all good

I thought my transmission was failing but it was working just fine before i messed with the 02 sensor. The new one wasnt the same so i put the old one in that got damaged during removal, hopefully thats whats causing my issue

2015 Honda accord CVT. Rpm’s rev up while coasting to a stop with foot off gas pedal. Intermittent slight jerking while accelerating. Loss of acceleration and less gas mileage. I do all routine Maintenance at dealership. No check engine lights. Please advise. Would like to know what you think 🤔

Same problem.... Checked the fluid level and i was horrified when none was on the dipstick.... I swear my mother would be stranded every time if I didn't check every fluid, lubricated all spots and rotated the tires... But I love her....

Thats just engine breaking. The cars TCM is likely programmed to do that at a certain gradient/speed. It would be an issue if as you were accelarating, the cars rpms suddenly jump but it isn't moving any faster.

What happens as my car is shifting gears with a little delay, and is moving going up to 100 km per hour and it struggles to go above this speed, sometimes it goes to 120 km per hour, and am getting a whinning voice all the time, sometimes the whinning voice would dissappear, can it be a transmission problem? ? My car shakes when i do 40 miles.i had a mobile, mechanic come and he scanned codes and saw ignition coil come on.reason for calling mechanic my car stalled. Instead of driving my car and seeing whether the car moved he assumed it was ignition coils .after replacing coils he realized my car woukd not move.made clanking sound placing in reverse. What a waste of money because he believes i need new transmission.im wondering if its t axel issue.any thought.car has 200,000 miles 2007 lexus ...

You don’t you remove the oil pan measure how much fluid came out look up the amount for your car and put back in the amount you took out or top it off if low.

Hi all. struggling with our 2005 forester XT (auto) 4EAT. we have repaired or replaced the transmission. would we need to reprogram the TCU? if it can be reprogrammed or should be? ATF levels are fine, clutch pack is fine, valve body has been checked and is perfect, pressure tests are fine, inhibitor switch is aligned not getting any codes from diag. car finally went into drive but not going into any other gears. car starts no problem. everything should be golden. is reprogramming the TCU (if it has one) our only option? any help is seriously appreciated. shifter moves freely. its not stuck in park.

Did you get it fixed you have to add ATF fluid with the car running so the transmission pump can circulate the fluid then check again it’ll be low keep adding then see if the gears engage.

@@oahts5906 well change the gasket sounds like the oil pan gasket is leaking. Gotta drain the fluid into a clean bucket remove all the bolts take off the cover replace the gasket it be best to change the filter to while you are there. Bolt everything back up measure how much fluid came out and put exactly that amount back in. If you catch the fluid in a clean bucket you can just put that fluid right back in.
