I don’t know if this goes for men/boys also, but I’m 22 I don’t find myself attractive bc I’ve been bullied about my little insecurities. And people have found that to get to me. Until one day I decided to dress casually as things I like to wear, cardigans/black skinny jeans, and simple wear clothing. I got a few compliments from older married women telling me I was “handsome.” I make a “wth” kind of face when she said that as I don’t find myself attractive. It was till now that I realize people only belittles me bc of THEIR insecurities bc the girls they liked would like me instead. But that was in elementary and middle school. Now I have a lot more confidence, I’ve taken care of my body. And I can sense the stares of other men who “don’t like me, or those exact vibes kids would pick on me from back in school.” Now I’m more confident and I know who I am:)
