Haters will always exist and unfortunately play a part in many people not taking actions on their dreams. Once we can begin to genuinely care less what people think, it feels like a huge weight is lifted from our shoulders. We can then begin to live with purpose and no limitations. I hope you all get to that place where you feel free from fear and go after everything you've always wanted.

Superb interview. Often when it comes to haters it's not about where you're striving to be, but the hate comes from where they are during that time

Another great podcast Lewis! Both you and Greg open up so much and this helps me a lot as a male to realise we need to speak about our emotions, feelings and challenges. Big ups to both of you in this podcast for shedding light on this issue and encouraging us to all step up and open up :)

YES to everything except "and wish them all the best things in life". I don't wish them bad things but I definitely don't wish them the BEST things in life.Thats really not necessary

Haters project there insecurities on successful people. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. ER. Such a lovely man beautiful interview. I was a competitive swimmer so I watched Greg in every Olympics!! His diving took my breath away and made me cry he is so good. Pretty close to perfection as you can get. Thank God for utube so we can see those performances again and again. 💕😊

Don’t know why this didn’t get more views. I think it was the timing - diving was not seen until now as amazing and gutsy/hard/masculine. (I write in 2021). Greg is the KINDEST GREAT ATHLETE ever. I git to train with him briefly in 1984. He then went on to more Olympic medals- GOLD.

Lewis’s question about the judging being not only for one dive but how the judges see you perform when walking around on pool deck etc, was very insightful. It actually shouldn’t matter but it does. The Chinese men walk around with a centered kind of swagger like “whatever the others are doing, we are here to dive.” It is definitely s different attitude. They tend to win the GOLDS.

Awesome stuff! Greg Louganis was a clear cut number one in diving during his time! I think he definitely had an edge because of his breathing techniques and visualization. When you're able to get into a mindful state during competition and not have your thoughts racing, you'll become way more consistent! And that is key for success in diving. I'm a current national team diver and I started my own channel recently talking about the lessons I've learned through sports. I would really appreciate any feedback on my channel so I can get better! :)
