It looked like there was some added darkness to James' face in the bathroom mirror. Nice touch.

This looks amazing however a remake does not really keep the same music. Though the main menu screen should keep that song as it is iconic and aged very well. The other sound effects will probably be different and music will be remade. This was done with RE4 remake as well. They added hints of the original music but made it sound different and it was a good touch to a remade game.

No they aren't.... Stellar Blade was teased for nearly 5 years before dropping. Star Field was the same. Nintendo fans have been waiting for Metroid Prime 4 for like 7 years now. Fable 4 has been in development hell for 10+ years now and still has no real combat in trailers to show for it...... SH fans didn't know this project was confirmed till like barely 2 years ago and it's only a little bit away.

@@aidensnow5017 yea but I wish they’d at least do a better job at updating us or showing more trailers I mean the game has barely even gotten any marketing just 2 trailers one of which wasn’t even a good representation of the upcoming final product especially since it was a gameplay trailer! I just hope we get to see something at the upcoming PlayStation showcase this month!

that’s good, it means that it’ll probably be good, if you rush a game you get a cyberpunk, if they listen to criticism this is going to be big

Why did they make the main character look older he was a Chad in the original game now he looks like an old man...

James does NOT look like an old man now, he has been redesigned into a younger version more like the original game, proof of this was found when the SH2 Remake icon was updated in the steam database for the game. It's actually also used in this fanmade video at 0:45 - james icon is the new design, meanwhile the rest of the video is from the old SH2 remake trailer which used James's old design.

@@rlfpotatoking9253 It's still not the same they made his nose bigger and gave him deep wrinkles on the cheeks like hes been drinking for 40 years straight which 29-30 year old man has so many wrinkles come on... just type "this is what I think James from silent hill 2 should've looked like in the remake" click the first thread and see that the AI fan remake looks better than what we are seeing here and the 2024 trailer
