I have the n5 and love it. Even catches anyone peaking into your side windows. Bought it with a 512gb sd card, suction cup mount and hardwire kit. Have a video taken when hurricane milton hit. Though it really gave the car battery a hard workout on park mode.

Is your rear widow tinted? How do you think the image will show up through titnted glass?

Yes, my rear windows are tinted! Plus, this dashcam has the Exposure control as I showed in this video, when I was talking about the settings. If the picture is too dark or too light, you can adjust it accordingly.

I am on my second N4 Pro as my first one quit working after 10 months. No customer support. I bough another one cause I had all the wiring already in place. Yeah, it works great until it quits. So, $600 a year for hardware is expensive.

Vantrue has 1 year warranty, so you shouldn't pay anything after 10 months. Plus, you can extend warranty to 2 years for $25 or so. The best way to contact them is via their Amazon page. Don't forget to format SD card once a month.

Can I livestream to my phone when I'm not in my car?

No. In order to livestream remotely, you'd need the dashcam to have its own internet or data service, and pay a monthly cellular data fees. You can only livestream when you're inside the car, and then downloaded the recorded footage, as I showed in the video.
