My parents moved to Silicon Valley in January of 1971. I may not have matriculated at Stanford University, however having a high IQ in the top 2% afforded me the ability to succeed at 7 of The Fortune 100 here in the valley. Today I believe that Silicon Valley is two places. Firstly a paradise for those who work in the Tech Industry, secondly an Orwellian Dystopic nightmare for the almost 40,000 homeless, many of them being the working poor living in their vehicles just trying to survive.

Seattle, WA would be a great visit for you. It is very similar to the bay area and has also seen a huge tech boom. Plus a majority of people here use public transit as Seattle has one of the best transit systems in the nation. Downtown Seattle is the core of the city, with Starbucks headquarters, Amazon, Google, and of course Microsoft headquarters in Redmond with a huge campus and its own shuttle bus network.

I'm excited to see her tour of Seattle too! I notice that there are a number of negative comments about her statement that Moscow is the innovation center of Europe. Chill out! She's Russian. It's natural that she would want to brag a little about her native country. If you watch her videos you'll realize that she's pretty open minded and seems to really want to give her viewers useful information. What people should be focusing on is her correct observation that the heath care system in the U.S. is horrible.

If you are going to cover Silicon Valley, you need to do a video on San Jose. More employees at Apple have graduated from San Jose State University than any other. San Jose was instrumental in creating Silicon Valley as IBM had a facility there which produced main frame computers (way at the beginning of the computer age).

By the way, if you want to have a good Shabu Shabu, there is a great one in Dublin, CA. Also, another one that I have not tried yet in Pacific Pearl Mall in Pleasanton, CA. It is near to the famous San Francisco Outlet Mall in Livermore, CA. It is a very interesting area. You should come and check it out. they have a nice Conveyor belt sushi place at the Pacific Pearl Mall in Pleasanton as well. We live not too far from there in Danville, CA. We are close to the Blackhawk Museum in Danville where they have a Car and art museum and a beautiful park nearby with ducks, goose and swams pond and a mall along the canal. You should come this way by BART and get an Uber from the station to any of those places. It is an unique place. You get the Asian area in SF, but you don't see that immersion to Asia in most places outside SF. Bonus, it is cleaner than SF. You should check this area out for food. There are many companies in Pleasanton near the West Pleasanton/Dublin station and also a big deal of companies in San Ramon, CA next door to Danville as well. San Ramon is a short drive from the BART station.

Transplants trying to use KZbin on a consumer/amateur "creator" level to make money to live here... No this is where people invent KZbin's etc 🤦♂️... Bringing down the intellectual capital and authentic/real people down to earth, was/is one of the greatest features or aspects of silicon valley/bay area. All these transplants bring their insecurities and lack of rationale. It's interesting to see the G wagons in San Jose that people are leasing while renting this is not typical Bay area rationale that is what LA is because there 90% are transplants so everyone comes from a small town in the Midwest where they were told they are so pretty and handsome and they will make it in LA and they come and it's a reality wake up call and so insecurities wreak in la and is definitely becoming the same up in the bay unfortunately. Just the whole fakery living on credit, IG lifestyle is breaching the bay., Good thing is as soon as there's a little bump in the road everything goes bad for them because they leveraged themselves too much and will have to go home. Anyway times are changing and the bay we knew is not going to be the bay we know in the future it's turning into another LA without question. The smog and traffic are officially worse than San Fernando Valley, and they are still doing construction in the daytime, it's done at night in LA which is a no brainier, less traffic jams and workers don't work in 100f. The bay isnt prepared for the crime thats come, they are overwhelmed and are paying 120k plus 35k signing bonus to be a cop in PA Los Altos Woodside etc basically the bay is going to be going through growing pains for the foreseeable future... It will be quite a different place in 10 years no question

I love your videos. We live in the Bay area as well, but in the Tri-Valley area. My husband is Russian. He works for a PayTech company and so did I before I had my last kid. The reason why you did not have PayPass cards in US is because Americans are very conservatives and companies involved with Payment here wanted to push it back and advertised everywhere the the new methods of payments that Mastercard and Visa (which are companies headquarted in Europe) were not safe and everyone should be aware of fraud. The push back did not hold through, because the rest of the world had adopted the method and they could not hold this lie anymore. So, America was the country from the developed world to migrate to, first the basic technology with cards with Chips, and then to the cards with what you call PayPass. This sort of migration is still going on and some remote places in US are still doing it.
