I feel like there are two schools of thought here: a) aim for the moon and you might end up close to it b) aim for multiple smaller, more realistic steps that seem more obtainable and thus motivate (aiming for a goal so far away can be really disencouraging) It's similar to the plan a / plan b thing: a) only have one plan so you put 100 % of your energy and focus on it b) have a plan b so that you are not completely stranded if plan a fails

Hi, Marina, I love to watch your videos in Silicon Valley Girl. As a mom of 2 kids (one 6, and the other 4), I often feel frustrated. I mean, I have dreams, but real life keeps me from it. However, whenever I watch your videos of such topic, I always get encouraged a bit and feel much better. Have you been so ambitious and self-displined ever since you were young? I think I was quite positive before; I used to list things I wanna do or I need to do on paper and enjoyed the excitement of crossing them out once I am done with them. Some point of time after having the kids, plus the limits that come with aging, I started to think in a negative way. But you are right, we need to think in a positive way, so the universe would throw something good on us!

I just came back from lavish vacation which I organized for mine and my husband’s family. 8 people in total. All payed by me and my husband. And we decided it spontaneously. We were on that place, vacationing in June with our child and said : “how cool it would be that our parents could enjoy with us” And we just did it. And this opportunity, to be spontaneous with that kind of money and could spend it for pure joy was my wish just 2 years ago. And I am there now

Crypto is a TERRIBLE investment for people who do not understand finance. When a currency is not overseen by a stable central bank it is very risky. Marina is not a finance expert by any means and is just spewing jargon in this infomercial. The best advice for a young investor is to learn how capital markets work, and to not make high consumption purchases (e.g., luxury cars, clothes) when you are young. You should try and save money each month and don't get into expensive leisure habits until you have enough capital to live off the interest. Wealthy people can be smart people but there are many people who go broke because they take on too much debt while young. Most (80%) new businesses fail, so you have to be a problem solver and not just a dreamer.

Marina, congrats on your first concerted venture into “Tonya Robins” category of the KZbin. First of all it’s not “peace in the word” it’s a “world peace”. While being very personable, which your effort clearly demonstrates, I strongly believe you would benefit from pacing yourself. Slow down a bit in your delivery, accentuate your main points by a deliberate pose. In addition, some graphs and charts may add more gravitas to your presentation, nevertheless it’s being widely debated among marketing community, at the moment. I still think statistical visual aid, if supported by somewhat scientific underpinning, may produce a long lingering impression in listeners mind, which, in turn, may generate some positive word of mouth result.
