5. things. 1. You have a habit of putting down a natural and then having all your marines chill at home and it's only after you have enemies in your mineral line that you ask them to actually go down the ramp. That's not.. amazing. 2. You really need to start thinking of how you want to engage a battle before it happens. You keep a-moving your army in and then it's not until the battle is half over you'll stim and siege your tanks. Set up and then lure them out. 3. You keep trying to sit on 2 or 3 base and max out then take it to the zerg. That does not work if the zerg is doing their job. Zerg is unique in that they can build workers or units but not both at the same time. It is YOUR job to make sure the zerg has to build units instead of workers. If you sit at home and let the zerg get 4 base and 80+ drones game is probably over for you. 4. You need to have stim done before your marines are unloaded for a drop. Every time you drop no stim you are basically just hoping the enemy has built no defenses at all. You also don't like always have to drop directly into the mineral line. I've watched you unload directly on top of so many spores, queens, and turrets. This game in particular. You have 8 marines in a medivac. You could have literally dropped in front of his base and walked in. Force out some zerglings, kill some queens. But you shift click your drops into the back of mineral lines and then don't look at it again until everything is dead. Medivacs can get your units around terrain and walls but the hyper focus on only being able to drop onto mineral lines is a thing you need to work on. 5. Stop running infantry into a clump of lurkers. That does not work. That will not work. Multiple games I've seen you drop 50-100 supply to lurkers and I'm starting to think you just don't understand how lurkers work. Keep up the good work.

Hey man, tough game. Looking at things, you started to harass, then just sort of stopped. Went on a macro push. As terran, you'll never win against Zerg doing that. Suggest in the future: 1. build depot, barracks, depot (immediately to keep from the early supply block), reaper -> send reaper to scout/harass. Move the reaper out of the base, move back in for a second look about 30 sec to a min later. Try to keep him alive if possible for a 3rd scout. While reaper harass/scout is going on, build a tech lab on the barracks (for combat shields/stim) and a factory. Make some buggies (2-3), take them over to do another scout/harass. This should be near the time the reaper goes in for his 3rd look (if alive). While the buggies are out doing their thing, build a starport and marines. When the starport is done, make a medivac, grab those marines and shoot over to the base for another looksee and harass. Bonus: if you have any of the previous harassment units alive you can make this work even better by going for a frontal assault as your marines drop in. After that, keep loading up marines while building up your tanks, medivacs, marines, and charge in. Do not try and max out before moving, you will run into a ball of teeth, claws, and bile.

Thanks for uploading the lopsided losses too. That's where the biggest weaknesses in your game will be revealed and fixed. As you said the lack of production was your biggest problem so focus on that next game. As always fun to watch your path to improvement as I'm learning lots as well.

Looks better than last video you did! Gj I think you know your production came up a bit late which is what caused that mineral bank. As a zerg, I think there is a lack of pressure in the early to mid game that allows to much space for creep + droning. I often see hellion + banshee early into a 1/1 tank marine push at 7-730. It’s an incredibly multitask intensive build but so fun! Best of luck Remember if supply is equal to a zerg it could mean he is pooling larvae and will make a huge round as you push out
@Voidspacealpha
@Voidspacealpha 4 күн бұрын
I never ever thought about the pooled larva. That’s such an eye opener

@@Voidspacealpha But that "Pool of Larvae" is compensated with Terran Cost-Efficiency. "Efficiently Pumping Units" + "Efficiently Trading in Defensive Positioning during Push" Your Trades in the fight were good/decent but Your Army Production was NOT. 8-Rax is the Maximum Efficiency for Bio Production, I mean that Economy was Racking-UP well. That 8Rax could have atleast Barely KeepUp with the LarvaePool but with Trading Well the fight. everything would way more MAnageable. 😊

@@drulad43 you are right. I really was just trying to point out that if you look at supply only to determine gamestate in a tvz it can be misleading, as zergs will build army at the last possible moment. Look at drone count / income, upgrades, and vision + creep (map control) along w supply to determine

First depot was actually placed properly, don't control group scvs into gas, rally one to gas from cc and grab another off the mineral line after it's returned minerals. Your build order got heavily delayed during reaper harass. I wouldn't send reaper in so deep just get the scout and leave on outside of creep you might be able to pick off a tumor which is really valuable early, but getting buildings started ASAP is more value than getting a drone kill especially if you lose the reaper. If you throw away the reaper you can be vulnerable to a roach rush as you lose the ability to scout it. The general build order is rather dated and puts you behind if you don't do serious damage early on. Also if you're going to do a 211 it's recommended to priorize stim, continuous marine production, and factory reactor after starport so you can switch the starport onto the reactor and get out two medivavs to fully load for your first pressure. Tbh though 211 is too apm demanding until high diamond-masters. With decent scouting you may want to consider a 3 minute 3cc opening in this match up. Helion openers to contain creep spread are also easier to control than marine medivac openers. I do think you can get there if you really work on your macro and hitting sharp timing attacks. Remember that zerg has to choose between making drones or fighting units. If you sit back too long, they make 90 drones and become unbeatable. The challenge for terran is macroing decently while attacking, and the key to that is getting set up as quickly and efficiently as possible so you can produce without having to look at your base. This is why having a solid build order down perfect is more important than an early game skirmish. Get the macro rote and work on scouting any aggressive early game shenanigan but largely laying back and trying to deny creep. I need about 250 apm to play bio tvz personally, and I still forget a lot! Glhf

Your problem for tvz and tvp is that you dont use ghosts. Ghost are really important for both of the matchups. If you dont want to add ghosts, try adding a fusion core and 2 extra starports (so you have 3), then research liberator range and start pumping liberators

10:27 i was really impressed by that fight, for once you did some positive micro against the banes, it was a good engagement. I think if you had gone a few tiles fruther and sieged fast those morphing lurkers, you might have had a chance of doing serious dmg. Or just drove back home, preserving those units. Unfortunately the following battles were back to the meatgridner, just pushing up the ramp, sieging late... Its easy to not want to watch a lost game, but its very important. I for example was very curious how many kills that liberator at 10:44 scored, i think it had potenetial, but you didnt check that, i think you were somehow pissed at the game:).

8 ........ 8 Rax. 😊 Your base is not done until you're at 8 Rax. 😊 It's not done even then, but 8 Rax is the bare minimum. 😉 You had the money to support that amount of production (that's why you were floating so much minerals). Also, stop walking over creep. Get rid of that gooey stuff, he could see everything you were doing. 😮 Grab like 8 Marines and a Medivac or 2 and stim them ahead of your army to clear out creep on the way.

Not a bad effort, can see you're struggling a bit with the multi tasking. Try to focus on some basic concepts as your next steps for improvement rather than specifics. I'd reccomend the following: 1 - Less reaper micro! You went up to 500 minerals to kill 1 drone, not worth! Shift click to scout natural + gases, you weant to know if a ling or roach all in is coming nothing more (yet!). 2 - Macro > micro. More stuff beats less stuff (usually!). You focused so much on your lack of gas you didn't address the mass of minerals. Everytime you have 1000 minerals try building a CC, 2 rax or a fact/starport if you have spare gas . Worry about the fancy moves later when you have spare apm (In this case the gas issues were because the second starport was too early and imho the libs did you more harm than good. eg 10:40 you lost 20 supply setting up a lib) 3 - Don't sit around on creep. Clear a lane you want to attack down if you're doing a rally style push, otherwise try and fight on the edge and clear it a bit at a time. 4 - When you attack have an objective. Ideally you need to pressure / kill a base, you sat way outside the third (on creep!) giving them all the time in the world to prepare units. 5 - Try to focus on your 'triple threat' infantry. Stim, Combat shield, +1 attack marines with medivacs are your bread and butter early game. This time combat shield was quite late.
