Mid-size. I've owned a 2019 Silverado Trail Boss and a 2021 Z71 Colorado midnight edition back to back and I much prefer driving the mid-size. The box size can be a little annoying but I can work around it. I didn't go for the ZR2, I knew I wasn't going to get a lot of use out of the lockers or shocks and I wanted the addition towing capacity as this is my go to work around for a 5' box. I went with a Ready lift 3.5" lift and 33" tires. Even with the 33" tires I am getting much better gas mileage than my Trail Boss and it's different from all the cookie cutter trucks on the road.

i just picked up a 2020 ZR2 mine is red with the black hood scoop but i got mine cause i loved the look of it and i also want to do some off-roading! i also had a 2020 ranger XLT FX4 loved driving it but always loved the look of the colorado ZR2 so far it feels like it has more power then the ranger but the gas mileage is not very good ranger was getting about 18-23mpg and the colorado is getting about 13 at best dont know if i just need a tuneup or what it has about 52k on it! but still love the colorado

@@HorsePowerObsessed as for pros/cons go, for the Colorado, I liked its maneuvering and handling as parking was never an issue. It is great on gas for a truck. It was so easy to drive. Not too big, not too small, a great break in truck for someone who never drove a truck before like me. The cons were mainly the plain interior. It’s roomy but for my 6’2” frame, I needed more leg room. For me and backseat passengers. It didn’t have much storage space for things. Now my Silverado RST is perfect. It sits up high, I have plenty room front and back. Tons of storage space and compartments. I miss the maneuverability and ease of parking like my Colorado has. I find myself having to park way off either because the spaces are too small or people parking ridiculously. It’s decent for gas for being a full-size, but I didn’t go to the tank as much with my Colorado after long distances. The seats are more comfortable in the Silverado. And I feel a lot safer on the road in a full-size truck. And it’s a looker as I get attention everywhere I go in this!!! I have a 2wd because I don’t need all that extra power. It’s actually strong enough even in snow or ice.

I recently traded in my ‘20 Colorado Z71 Crew for a ‘21 Silverado LT Crew. The trade-in value was awesome due to the chip shortage, which opened up the possibility of getting into something bigger. My wife and I were not very comfortable in the Z71. It felt cramped and was a rough ride, both issues for longer road trips. The Silverado rides smoother, and with the 2.7 Turbo I’m getting decent fuel mileage, not to mention 9,300 lbs towing. We’re both much happier with the Silverado.

I went with the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom double cab, longer bed, 6.5 ft..5.3 liter v-8 a lot of hp..great gas mileage 17.3 in the city 20 on interstate, just added a performance muffler, Flowmaster series 40, nice sound not to loud, just rite for my needs, having Ceramic Tint installed on all my glass, limo on rear and back windows, 20% on passenger and driverside, and 70% on front windshield, i have black interior to should be nice comfortable inside can't wait...

I have a 2018 Z71 Colorado crew cab with the V6 and love it. I found the front seat very comfortable. I towed a fully loaded 10'x 6" enclosed utility trailer from North of Pittsburgh to a KOA campground not far from Six Flags Over St. Louis in 12 hours including stops. Rode and towed like a dream. And even towing a fully loaded trailer, I averaged 22 MPG for the round trip. I got razzed by the guys at work who owned full size trucks, go figure....lol. But, I have no problems parking. The only slight disadvantage is my bed is not as big as a full sized, but, if I need to haul something bigger, I have my trailer.

I own a 98 5.7 z71 has a 3 inch lift mostly stock pick up is great.. own a 2016 colorado z71 bone stock ... no pick up fun to drive but lacks enjoy driving it cause I have ac in colorado . colorado is definatly a fun truck but I switch often cause the silverado is just fun

Traded my 18 Colorado for a 21 Trail Boss and I am not disappointed. I noticed the Trail Boss gets Better MPG than the Colorado. Is so comfortable having a full-size truck, especially when you are 6 feet 2 inches tall.

I have owned 3 cars and 1 crossover (02 Escape) and am looking to eventually get out of my 155k 2013 Chevrolet Cruze and into a truck that will get me places that I can’t in my car 🚗. So my husband has had a Silverado for the last 40 years different years. The one he has now is a 2013 it's got 95,000 miles on it. It has been the best vehicle mechanically. The RUST is starting above the rear wheels on each side a little bit, ALSO... by the back of the bed...IT needs new rims those are wasted with RUST, and new Front plastic bumper. Other than that it's pretty good. So he's thinking of test driving a Colorado. 2022. 👉🏼What should he be looking out for? 👉🏼 Can you tell me pros and cons about the difference? 👉🏼 He will be turning 65 ...just wants to go to the store and back work and back some family visits that's it. Obviously he doesn't put very many miles on. Thank you in advance. We're trying to figure out the differences before we do a test drive. His 2013 Silverado is a 4.3 (Basic... all.) 2022 Colorado is An EXTENDED CAB LONG BOX RWD TRUCK LT. That's all he thinks he needs he's just trying to figure out if he wants to switch. 👀👍

I've drove Silverado my whole life and I'm 60. My last truck looks like the one in this video, Red Hot Z71 crew cab Silverado 2018 with 5.3. But I think I'm about to get a 2022 Colorado LT 4x4 Redline edition 🤔 gas is ridiculously high and I drive a lot on weekends. The Silverado is awesome but after buying lift kits, exhaust tires wheels, bed covers, Nerf bars. Light bars and paying for gas , harder to park. Really thinking about the V6 gas mileage, easy parking, bed cover and other accessories are a little cheaper. So Really leaning towards the Colorado! I want a ZR2 but prices are crazy so just a 4x4 will work for me.

I'm not a big fan of the mid-size truck market I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma standard cab two-wheel drive as my commuter daily driver and I have a 2015 Z71 full size truck. mid-size can't do both for me at all it would serve me zero purpose
