Nikki uses the “pinky rest” technique to mute the other strings by resting her pinky over them while she picks the strings, a technique I thought I seen her use in the “Well Thought Out Twinkles” music video which was really hard to catch considering it’s all coated with special effects so I came to this video to confirm it and I was right! A good technique to use when you’re starting off, I’ve evolved to a flat fist but this one is just as effective! (I don’t know who needed to hear that.) Great music video, loved the concept!

Oh gosh, I remember looking into their music way back in 2007 when I heard Lazy Eye for the first time and came across this music video on my dad’s computer. I was 13 at the time. Good times. Now I’m 25, have all their albums and recently saw them live on June 4th, 2019. My dream came true.
