I've had my VX-Pro's for well over a month now, and they are absolutely effing brilliant. Solid, incredibly adjustable, smooth and precise. You can set them up to be soft, hard, long travel, short travel, single stage, dual stage. They can be whatever you want. I had a set of Fanatec V3's, upgraded to Asetek Invictas, couldn't stand the Invictas, then got a set of VX-Pro's that are perfect for me. They are fascinatingly smooth as well thanks to the spring based design, no squish or stickyness from elastomers or hydraulic piston seals.

Hi! I just got mine today and for some reason the break pedal is not registering any input when pressing it, the throttle and clutch work just fine, but the break pedal doesn't give me anything above "RAW 650", any work around you know of or you think I just got a faulty pedal...? Thank you and have a nice one! PD. Do you know of a discord server/FB group for simgrade products owners?

How would you explain the difference from V3's to the VX-Pro's? Possibly might make the jump
@texnorthman7 ай бұрын
@Cevap05 Smoother, and more adjustable. The VX Pros use springs, so you don't get any of that "squishy" sensation that comes with elastomers. Depending on how you set them up they can be either softer or MUCH harder than the V3's, entirely up to you. Highly recommended upgrade over the V3's!

@@johnspencefareal420 hey! At some point I just gave up on it, even uninstalled the software, and after 2 weeks they advised me (support team from simgrade) to change the bolts I used to fix them to the pedal base bc they might’ve been too tall, so I replaced the bolts with smaller ones, re-installed the software and gave it a try again, it worked!, the thing is that the bolt thing seemed a bit suspicious to me, so I swapped the bolts again (to the bigger ones that I initially used) and the pedals kept working well, I kept the bigger bolts and I’ve had no troubles so far, so I couldn’t really tell you what really fixed the issue, might’ve just been the re-installation of the software. Hope it helps even a little bit mate, good luck! (One thing I must say is that even they did reply to all my emails, it took them like 5 business days to reply to each of them)

Also perfect for socks. I thought long about pedals with vibration motors but honestly, I don't think I could ask for a better pedal set, they're perfect, not missing anything. I personally don't use the 2 stage braking, I need 100% in many cars for the first moment of max downforce. Also don't need any add-ons, I use them without any baseplate, just mounted on my rig. They are not as tall as the Simlab XP1, so even with smaller feet I can use them without heel support

Am now 3 months in with these pedals and I live them. Went from logitc G29 with load cell mod, to Fanatec V3 and than to Simjack Pro. Of all these the VX-PRO'S are the best. It was between these and the P1000 and Race Beyond Matter's video pushed towards the VX-PRO'S

@victorcatorz57318 ай бұрын
@@malice930 main problem with the simjacks os a design flaw that caused the plate holding the load cell brake to bend. This causes the brake travel to become longer after time and you become inconsistant. I agree with what dave said in this video's about most load cell pedals being fine. The simjacks did their job for most parts. But I was in yhe same boat as you where I was constantly trying to find upgrades to make them better. There comes a point where you just have to tell yourself to get something better. You wont become much quicker with these pedals but I like knowing that my pedals wont just randomly break from use. @easybreeze18 ай бұрын
Yeah love mine, as you say, they're so quiet, I've had Fanatec v3's and VRS pedals and both ended up squeaky and needed cleaning, greasing. Personally I found the yellow brake spring too strong even on lowest setting, I have the red spring now and this is much better for me. I did find the setup odd where there is no real stop point and the two stage feeling Dave said is spot on, it's the same for the throttle too which is weird, but just set 100% just under where you feel the spring fully compress and it's fine (otherwise you may only reach 95% throttle in game). Also the bolt pattern is a little odd so had to drill new holes, also because the front and rear bolts are quite close you need a strong base plate, my old GT Omega Titan's base plate bent from the force. Highly recommend these.

I have the set of two and I'm very satisfied with them. The brake is in my opinion not really two stage though. It just gets progressively stiffer the further you push. Not like a clear and defined second stage. I run it on the stiffest setting with the yellow spring (there are stiffer and softer springs available but not included) and that works good for me. I tried the softer settings too but then the "second stage" or rather the progressive transition feels a bit mushy to me. I'm nowhere near your level though, so that could be just me. The throttle is really good. The software is anything but intuitive and i haven't managed to load my own pre-saved profiles. Loading the factory profile works just fine, but if I want anything else, I have to re-calibrate and save to device. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but there is not much to it and I wouldn't know what to do differently to make it work. They perform really good but they are also built to budget. The box with the electronics for example is i believe 3d printed and feels very fragile. Compared to other pedals, they have a very small footprint, which I like very much.

Thank you for this review, I have Sim Lab XP1 since your review last year and enjoy them very much; I for one dislike the industrial look the Heusinkveld and these Simgrade have but let's be subjective : One of the reason I would not buy Simgrade if I would be in the market is that I found them way too complicated; there are too many nuts and bolts that can loosen up over time, and they will ! :( Also the mounting plate are small and must put tremendous force on the t-nuts, might not be a factor on premium profile rigs but most people are using metal rigs like Next Level Racing F-GT or lower tier profile rigs with thinner aluminium parts. I think these pedals, despite the attractive starting price point are really intended to compete in the high end market, where I do not think they belong; maybe if I would try them I would change my mind :)

The interesting thing about these pedals is they are massively adjustable, so unless someone really really doesn't like the pedal plates then they should be suitable for damn near everyone. I went from Fanatec V3's, to Asetek Invictas, and then to these VX-Pro's. They can be set up softer and longer travel than the Fanatec, or harder and with even shorter travel than the Invicta's, all while being 100% smooth. Best of all worlds in my opinion, I would not swap these out for anything - and now that I have a Simagic Haptic unit attached to the brake I don't even think I would bother with the Simucube Active pedals.
