Hi Diego Waterproof is both Torray and Goretex. The lifecicle you can expect is a bit longer on Gore but as well great on this Chanllenger Membrane.

The Simms Challenger jacket is not made in the USA (their waders are). This jacket is made in Vietnam.

David Verbyla nothing surprises me anymore now days. I bet they could make this jacket in usa and still make profit if sold for same price. But they can make even more profit making them in vietmam or china etc.. still simms products is great quality

Noticed you went out of your way on almost every review video about this jacket just to shit on it and point out it is not made in USA and made in Vietnam. Read the back of your "USA MADE" Simms waders, right below the American flag where it says "made from imported products." Where do you think those products could possibly be imported from? Side note: all the alterations and seamstress business in my area are Vietnamese or asian owned and I've gone in to have my "American made" products that have ripped resown or reseamed without issue. I think with the higher end products, the Asians are a bit better than US in dealing with them.
