Thank you Simon for taking us along with you. I think you are one of the most talented video creators on you tube, you have a great way of finding just the right music that goes with the pictures, to many people on you tube seem to put way to much face time in there videos rather than the area they are in, and to be honest it’s the views of the areas that are the real starts of the shows. Thank you again as I know how much time you put into making these videos, you will have some wonderful memories when you’re older and sitting by the open fire telling your tales to anyone who will listen.

Brilliant walk Simon! Thank you for showing off the beauty of your neck of the woods. If ever you find that you can’t decide on your next walking adventure, you have a standing invitation to come here to Nova Scotia 🇨🇦where I’d be more than thrilled to return the favour, so to speak, and show off MY neck of the woods to you. We have thousands of km’s of world-class hiking trails over virtually every part of the province. Deep back country trails in Kejimkujic and Cape Breton Highlands National Parks to simple day rambles in and around the capital, Halifax. (We have some epic paddling too!) And ALL the fresh seafood and local rum you can handle😉. You even have free room and board. Thanks for taking us along and all the best.

Yet another great video. That ice house brings back memories when we were kids the older lads used to link cycle tyres together like a rope ladder and with rope tied to a tree climbed up and down into it, maybe to escape we younger lads. Well done and congratulations Simon on completion of such a beautiful looking walking series. Your commentary plus filming has been enjoyable, as has showing your routes on maps. This greatly appreciated. As resident of Brisbane, Australia who has been following your channel from just prior to the pandemic shutdowns, I have found the filmed tranquil scenery and waterways of Britain and Scandinavia spectacular! I look forward to more great content. Hopefully your back filming in the canoe soon. is another multiday minimal equipment survival camp on the drawing board. Thankfully your channel doesn't seem like an: "endless no effort sponsored by this or given that; comfort rather than survival/bushcraft; just in it to make some money or give me freebies" advertisement like how another I used to enjoy but now rarely follow has become. Your sincerity and humility comes across nicely. Cheers mate.

Simon, I am happy to hear you say that you plan to produce more videos, including additional extended walks. I have enjoyed watching every one of your videos I've viewed to date, beginning around 2018, I believe. I found myself amused and a bit nonplussed to discover how much I enjoyed watching content from you, Kent Survival, Wiltshire Man, TA Outdoors, and other YT content producers who portray outdoor adventures in what I would otherwise consider the overpopulated and staid British Isles. I first chanced upon your channel while searching for reviews of equipment, mostly of surplus military origin, which I was considering to outfit my own resumption of wilderness treks as a septuagenarian. A cascade of crises, including COVID-19, wrecked vehicles, and injuries, has interfered and postponed my commencing such adventures. Yet, I find myself heartened to see that Mankind's curiosity and drive to explore, which I believe resides in our DNA, endures even within highly "civilized" lands. My own age and demeanor have led me to appreciate your friendly and relaxed delivery--I'm not a fan of boisterous high-fives and "Yippees" shouted at the wilderness. Steve (Firebox Stove channel) produces similarly relaxing, yet inspiring, content here in the USA. You may consider it a compliment that I include you in such company and say that I sincerely hope that you someday find opportunities to experience backpacking and camping in some of North America's fine wilderness. Were it up to me, I'd accompany you on a week or three-long backpacking trip through some wilderness area in the Cascade or Rocky Mountain ranges here in The West! Happy trails, kindred spirit!

Hi Simon, I am remotely enjoying your long walk and am happy that you share that with us. I think, that the blooming yellow field at 17:01 is mustard, as raps is blooming in spring/early summer and mustard is blooming in late fall. Mustard is used as a natural fertilizer, which collects nitrogen from the air and stores it in knots in the roots, where the next generation of plants can benefit from it as a long-time-dispensing fertilizer. I thank you for your great work! Yours, Stefan

Ah, Thetford range! Many a week spent on exercise there in the 1980s. Good friends of mine live in Attleborough. Must go visit next time I'm home from Oz.
