I have to be honest I was never Biles biggest fan, I always thought there was something missing from her routines, but she has added some really nice Choreography and I would have to say this is a lot more artistic than what Komova and Mustafina produced at the European Games. I predict that she will take gold on floor at worlds as well as Rio providing she stays healthy. She is just brilliant.

Right!! There aren't many gymnasts I would say ate a given for Olympic gold. Injuries, etc can always happen. But Simone is such a natural I don't believe she's really over pushed herself! She doesnt have to! She has had a couple of minor injuries but I don't foresee any obstacles in her way! I am so psyched to see what her upgrades will be in '16!!!! ( I'm not saying she doesn't work extremely hard, just that she's built for this)

HellsOnlyBelle Keep in mind they overscore Americans in any 'all/only American' competition. There is usually a 3-4 tenth bonus for doing extra difficulty. This routine would probably score in the mid 15's in a real competition.

loliprop to me Kyla would be the alternate. On every event you have Kyla on Bailie is better or just as good so it wouldn't make sense to leave Bailie off to take Kyla.

Oops! I wrote this yesterday before looking at the final scores (I hadn't seen Bailie's vault or bar scores which turned out to be much higher than I expected). I meant to put Bailie in there if that had been the case. I don't see Kyla being an alternate since her ability to do vault or floor is questionable because of her foot, and they need someone who can replace an athlete on any event rather than one who is injured. If her foot is 100% better she has a decent chance at beating Bailie, and if it isn't better she should not be an alternate at all.

Even with Kyla's foot being better she still would about equal Bailie on vault, beam, and bars. Bailie clearly beats her on floor which would put Bailie ahead. Kyla is in competition with whoever is the bar worker I believe. Not really Bailie

I think Bailie would make the team stronger overall and the experience competing at a world championships is valuable prior to the olympic year. The more girls who have experienced a huge competition like that, the better. Kyla has already proven that she can compete on the big stage, and it is important that someone who wants to be on the olympic team is confident in their ability to hold up under that kind of pressure.

I firmly believe Simone can open up with a double double laid out and dismount with a double double.tucked. I mean did you all SEE the height on her last pass and how at ease she was? 2nd and 3rd passes would be a double layout + full out and then her double layout half out + sissone. A year ago at Classics, she was competing much less than she is now, so I know these upgrades are possible. CANNOT WAIT for next year!!!
