@@Joseph-q4r8q The Bible doesn’t say “stop smoking to be saved” or any other sin for that matter, it says Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. It’s really that simple, trust in Jesus for your salvation because he paid it all. Do not confuse salvation and discipleship. Salvation is a gift from God, discipleship is costly.

Today I found out i have a mulberry tree in my yard. Young and only this year started making berries. About a year after I moved into my home, i casually asked God to have a bird give me a mulberry tree becuase i couldnt afford to buy one. I grew up as a little girl climbing a mulberry tree eating the berries every summer. After i discovered it i was as excited as a kid on Christmas morning. I found out that the location in which i live (i moved far from my hometown) that mulberries are extremely rare to have, let alone grow in the wild. The tree is in a perfect location. God is good. He answers even your seemingly silly prayers. I love Jesus and everything He has done for me.

Amen. I was raised in an independent Baptist church and was confused till I was 24 years old about salvation and how it worked. I decided I was going to find the truth no matter what religion, denomination, or whatever it was. I found out that salvation is by GRACE through faith. Only trusting that Jesus did what He said He did. And that is, my sin debt was paid at calvary. I still struggle sometimes after hearing lies for 24 years it's hard to get things you always believed out of your head. It's harder to unlearn things than it is to learn things. But I'm just thankful Grace was given when Christ died for me.

Well. Our family and some of the church going folks see The Bible as a place to find peace and stories that teach lessons. Regardless of whether the stories or utter fact or proven true by science isn't a governing factor in our belief. Proof and the idea of proof for many of us religious folks is not even brought up as an issue. Even if you thought the whole Bible was all made up by people. It is still a wonderful teaching tool. And can bring you to believe in a higher power. The message of the stories matters most.

Stuff like: why do so many people on this earth, even Christians, suffer so much from war, natural disasters, or just stupid accidents? No parent would just stand by and watch their child suffer, so why does God? I can't get beyond that. But this video challenges me to stop asking "why," because "why" has no end. Just want to say Dwayne, I don't know if you remember or not, but we had an argument on the forgiveness of God a while back in your comment section. I realize I had been too egotistical about it all. I come from a skeptical background and am hard-headed about a lot of things. Your videos and other channels have been teaching me to slow down on all the debate tactics. I'm learning to be okay with myself if I don't understand something from the bible when I read it. It may come to me later when God wills it for me. I appreciate your gentle approach to discerning the truth of God. Thanks for what you do, man. I'm still a ways from truly understanding God's love for us, but this video has reminded me that faith doesn't come to one who demands it. I can only read a little of the Bible at a time because it's so different than anything I've ever read, and yet I feel a comfort when I'm done and I put it on my nightstand before I sleep. I have faith that if I stay consistent, God will reveal the truth to me when he knows I'm ready. God bless you, sir.

I’ve been praying and meditating on this poem about faith for a while. This poem does the best job for me, personally, when I’m trying to describe what I mean by faith. THE GAP Did Jesus live? And did he really say The burning words that banish mortal fear? And are they true? Just this is central, here The Church must stand or fall. It’s Christ we weigh. All else is off the point: the Flood, the Day Of Eden, or the Virgin Birth-Have done! The Question is, did God send us the Son Incarnate crying Love! Love is the Way! Between the probable and proved there yawns A gap. Afraid to jump, we stand absurd, Then see behind us sink the ground and, worse, Our very standpoint crumbling. Desperate dawns Our only hope: to leap into the Word That opens up the shuttered universe. -Sheldon Vanauken, A Severe Mercy

A patient was end of life and one of the Chaplains attended at the bedside. Had a chat with the patient and as the chaplain was leaving they said that that patient was from one ‘branch’ but the Chaplain was of another, so they’d send a referral to a Chaplain of the patients ‘branch’. I said, ‘Aren’t we all praying to the same Man?..’.

A very powerful message, yet so clear and uncomplicated. I have yearned for these basic truths to rationalize what I have always believed about God. I was raised in a southern Baptist church and force fed all the doctrine, but joined the Navy and became an adult with my own views about salvation, and your message rings very true with me. I am looking forward to following this channel. Dennis Ashe

Have gone through many trials and put myself in harms way for others even though I knew it would hurt. And faith in doing good for his glory and not my own washed away the pain.I asked for a stronger back and not a lighter load.God Bless Thanks again Dwayne a mental note to carry when times are tough.

Blessings to your gentle spirit to teach. Don’t be discouraged by the naysayers, you are making a different for the master and in my view that’s really all that matters. Be encouraged and keep pressing on my brother. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
