Kallie, you should place your baby’s seat in the center of your back seat, as it’s the safest place should you be in an accident. We were in an accident were the back seat passenger was pushed in 29 inches after being hit broadside. Our baby only had minor injuries in the form of small cuts from broken glass. Everyone was so amazed how well the car seat protected him, but also that we had placed him in the center. So happy for your family . Blessings❤

Hey Kalle, have you considered positioning the dining table alongside (perpendicular) the window? looks like it would fill the space better. It would also free more area for the living room and could probably fit a cozy armchair. I know the lights won't be centered anymore, but that's fixable...

Kale I hope that you can see this comment. You can make your cabin warmer by building wall on the inside against the logs then put insulating material in between the uprights. Then sheet rock it or cover it with boards. I enjoy your content

Swaddling was the real challenge and going sleep deprived after baby came along. By 6 months our son was sleeping through the night but he was born low weight for GA and for 3-4 months he was starvin Marvin!! Once he gained some weight and he was t so hungry all the time he slept well. One night he cried a little in his crib but after that he slept well and even napped well. He’s now taller than me and well in his way to becoming a man. I pray your child’s birth comes easy and he sleeps well with you both.

The thing is that strollers have an about 5 year life span and thrift stores are not allowed to sell them after the 5 years. Not to be used for babies, here in Quebec anyhow.

You know the rule book, the dos and don’ts, the should have, would have, could have? Well, with best intentions, but does not work like that! All parents do their best as I’m sure you will, but no competitions, challenges or comparisons with baby, home or relationship. Bit of a cliche, but it’s the journey. Enjoy your changed home, enjoy every new scratch, bump and spill that tells a story, absolutely love your new arrival and the achievement you have in his being here when it happens. Just with regards to mealtimes when baby is bigger. Have yourself an old sheet which you can put under the eating chair of the baby. Whatever food he throws down will land on the sheet and not the carpet. Afterwards you can just shake out or throw in the washing machine for a quick wash. Whallahhhhh😅.
