My youngest son was not speaking to me for 5 or 6 years when this song came out. Hearing it for the first time brought tears to my eyes (in fact it still does) and helped me adjust my attitude toward him. While he still lives with his mother (he's 39 now) we are getting along just fine and he now has an actual job (starting out in HVAC) that he really likes- and wants to go to school to learn and excel. He always had a good heart, doesn't do drugs- maybe a beer now and then with the Old Man. Until now, he has never assumed responsibility; due in part to his mother's enabling. He finally understands why I was pretty hard on him while growing up, but my mistake was the yelling and trying to compare him to his very successful older brother. This song help us mend our relationship. Thank you Simple Plan. I am 70 now. We can move forward with acceptance, love and the realization that time waits for no one. The time is gone when I could have built him the treehouse he wanted when he was a child. Instead, we will continue to move forward with respect and love.

It's amazing how much people can relate to this song. My dad was always more concerned about his public image and how it affected him being elected or how people viewed him. This is one of my favorite songs. I'm totally blind and struggle with social anxiety and possibly manic depression. Anyway it's so exhausting trying to constantly prove to everyone, employers, professors, peers, anybody really, that my blindness doesn't define me. I'm just as capable of having a job or doing school work as anyone with sight. I constantly have to fight to prove myself and end up being ignored. My parents just tell me to fight harder and advocate for myself but they don't understand how terrifying it is for me to interact with others and how exhausted I am from the fighting. I love this song because it makes me feel like that's alright. I don't have to be as brave or as strong as everyone wants me to be. I don't have to be as weak or handicapped as others want me to be. Listening to this song, I almost feel like who I am is alright.

This song hits different when you lose your dad... I remember my dad telling me how proud he was days before he passed away 6 years ago.... I was an asshat when I was a teenager.... Hopefully I'm breaking old habits with my 16 year olds... A huge thank you to simple plan for making music I related to then and even now... Untitled is hands down my favorite song!!! I'm a recovering alcoholic 22 years without alcohol.... I almost killed three people not including me. Why because I was a raging alcoholic and was partying before I went off to MSU. I should not have been walking let alone driving.... I learned a valuable lesson that night... I'll never forget because I relive it every time I close my eyes... Simple Plan got me through some tough times as a teen and now as a grown woman with teens, simple plan is gettin me through some tough times at the moment.... Keep killin it guys...
