Qigong is like a moving meditation that can be used to increase energy, decrease stress, and improve your over all health. Meditation, mindfulness, and concentration exercises are extremely important in helping the body heal and creating a calm state of mind. This is a simple qigong meditation that anyone can do. It will help move your qi, and let the mind settle.
Mindfulness and meditation are incredibly beneficial, only if you do it!
This practice is simply a 5 minutes, very lightly guided meditation that leads you back to your breath. Anytime you feel distracted, just bring yourself back to your breath. This meditation can help with sleep, anxiety, low energy, and stress
There are so many styles but the only effective qigong practice is the one that you actually do! If you can practice qigong everyday you will get the most benefit.

Sometimes simple is good! This is a an easy sitting meditation that is mostly just stopping and being still. Often we overcomplicate things! If you have a hard time meditating, you can do what this one monk told me... "just pretend at first." :)

Cheers for the Video clip! Excuse me for butting in, I would love your thoughts. Have you thought about - Xeyack Qenaleb Bulldozer (do a search on google)? It is a great one off product for discovering unbelievable techniques to build your Chi energy without the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my best friend Jordan at very last got amazing success with it.

Very nicely demonstrated. The music and the pictures of Mother Nature took me all the way to the forest and the streams that I adore the most and my mind felt so relaxed.

Liked this! 5 minutes is very doable and your prompts were perfect. I do have to laugh about the directions of breathing naturally AND breathing deeply---most of us don't breathe deeply unless we are thinking about it and trying to deepen it. Perhaps with enough practice it will become natural. I definitely have increased my breathing skills through yoga, even ending years of cough-variant asthma, so any mindful breathing that goes beyond shallow breath is great!

I do this sitting at my desk and it always quiets my mind compared to other meditation I try. My mind just wonders. Thank you. Do you have longer meditations also?

Hi Jeffrey thanks for your videos.. Just one thing to ask have you made a video. Or considering making one on GUO LIN. Chikung have you heard about its Amazing effects it doesn't seem to find classes or DVD on the subject and in English thanks alots

You're very welcome! Guo Lin qigong is a walking style of practice very focused on treating cancer. As I understand you have to be a "certified instructor" to teach their practices, which I am not. I am not sure how much more effective Guo Lin is compared to other qigong practices, but I would encourage you to practice any form daily. You will get the best effects out of a daily practice, no matter what the style is :) We have several full qigong routines on this KZbin channel, or you can join us in the Communi Qi for many different routines and discussions on health topics.
