Hi Shayda, i am watching you from Denmark. Im a 13 year old girl. I have anxiety and panic attacks. I just found your channel, you have have already helped quite a lot. I used to be very athlethic, and really artsy. But, after my latest foot injury, last summer, I stopped. Everything just became to much, and I just completely melted. I didn't feel safe enough to tell anyone, that I wasn't doing to well. I just disdained myself, from everyone. Until last Christmas, when there was a big blowup, and I was at that point like shutting down. I told my mom (my parents are divorced and have new partners). Ever since I told her, I've been getting better. I've been meaning to pick up a hobby for a while, but was never able to, because it always triggered me, because I'm not actually able to do much fisycly other than walk. But your videos really helped, both take my mind off everything going on in the world, and in my head, but also get me up and stay happy and motivated, to do something. I just want to thank you.

Keep painting honey. Keeping busy with something you love will help your anxiety. Share your feelings with a trusted teacher and friends. Divorce is very hard on kids. My parents divorced too and I was lucky to get a wonderful stepfather I loved dearly. Every time you paint you will learn something new. I wish you all the luck in the world. Hello! I hope your friends and family are doing well. I am from Canada. I am a 20 year old undergrad student. Wait let me change that to 20 year old debt holder. I love water colour because it helps me with depression and anxiety, but I have not been able to paint large pieces of artwork due to lack of supplies. I am collecting everything one colour and sheet of paper at a time. I now have 3 good brushes and stonehenge water colour paper. I just have to collect the paint. I like to fulfill my desire to paint just by watching you paint. I especially loved your three step leaves video because blue and yellow are the 2 colours I have, so I was very pleased by painting all kinds of leaves, as it is good stroke practice. I paint mini flowers in between study breaks.

nanda doc , you can sketch with watercolor pencils in the colors you’ll be painting with. They’ll disappear as you add water and paint.

I just made this for my mom. Couldn't order a pretty card on Amazon for her birthday coming up, so I thought I could DIY a card. I didn't have watercolor paper or proper paints (I used a 24 color Crayola water color and struggled mixing the right colors) but I think it turned out pretty well. I know my mom will love it :) ty for this tutorial, besides not having the strokes down as well as you, this was easy to follow along and I've never painted watercolor flowers before.
