I was asked for a few tips about kitbashing, so I'll show a few examples and cover some important things to keep in mind!

Cool video. Once I discovered kitbashing, I lost the ability to assemble models normally. Now it's a contest of how convoluted I can make my models.

The box of 340 skulls is how I got into kitbashing. Chaos tau is a fun concept

I really messed up my orruk MegaBoss and ended up ripping his head off, I panicked and found out about kit bashing and because I play Big Waaagh I've given him a Bonesplitters head and it looks alright actually. So glad I watched this though.

Mtg came out with these things called inklings. They seem right up your alley for symbolism behind scribe-related mages. Would be interesting to make from scratch as miniatures.

I used to customise and kit bash all the time when I was into warhammer about 8 years ago. Rediscovering the hobby now, but really struggling without a large collection of spare parts haha

Great video as always. One important thing worth including with regards to converting and kitbashing is the file. Especially when dealing with smaller surface areas using a file is super helpful to make sure that they fit properly and that they will stick well when you glue them together. I've had my lazy moments and skipped this part and I always pay for it later on with models falling apart super easily etc.

Since the snow in my area let up, I was able to get to my local shop and happened into a Flesh Eater Court Clearance of some of the older boxes, so I have much kitbashing and conversion in my future

Looked up a video like this because I'm looking to eventually get into the Exodites from 40k and there aren't really easily obtainable kits for them anymore, so was thinking of kitbashing some Eldar with either some mounts from the Skinks or Seraphon or other lizard based mounts from Warhammer. This video gave me a few ideas that'll help me a lot when I get to that and I'm looking forward to this little art project, whenever it is that I get to it ^-^

Personally I really like the base chaos Sorcerer. Also for slaves to darkness I want to do a slaves to darkness army but using other model lines to show other races can be corrupted by chaos. Like maybe highelf dragon princes as chaos knight. Or dwarf hammeres as chosen I know dwarfs are reliant to chaos corruption but still

This came at an opportune time. I’m planning to model a Knight Questor to bring with my Freeguild army, but I want to do more than what the base model conveys. So I was thinking I would try to build one with a female Stormcast body. Neave blacktalon looked like a good candidate, but I don’t want to use the axes.

Do forge world heads fit on Primaris heads thinking of putting imperial fists heads from forge world on my space marines to turn them into Black Templars

Yes they work, some pauldrons are smaller than primaris pauldrons but not to a very noticeable degree

I've only heard terrible things about liquid green stuff so far. And here you are calling it 'decent'. How come you're not on the vallejo train?

I've used liquid green stuff several times now and it does exactly what I expected, so yea... its good in my eyes. Seems like it would be hard to sculpt with but I just use it for gap filling and holding a moel in place while glue dries. As for vallejo... well I use all kinds of products and dont stick to one brand :) i love GW paints, but I also use some P3 colors, and my varnishes are from Vallejo. I just experiment with a ton of stuff and use what I like :)
