Thanks for sharing. This paper is a summary of case reports of suspected drug-induced liver injury. It included about 2,000 cases. 345 of which were attributed to a herbal/dietary supplement - of those, 3% were attributed to turmeric. So, from 2004 to 2022, there were 10 total cases. 5 of those related to tumeric + piperine. I've read two of those case reports and the individuals were consuming vast amounts of tumeric. It seems like people who consume curcumin in reasonable amounts have little cause for concern.
