As I'm writing this comment the 3060 ti is nowhere near its launch price as it cost around 700 euros. It's the best price per performance graphics card as of now outside of some very rare drops. So I took the plunge and bought one, this exact model to be precise. The card in itself is really well made and I was expecting a plastic backplate but it felt colder, almost like aluminum. So I did some research and found your video, as you mentioned at 2:20 it's a graphene composite and I don't know about its effectiveness but at least it feels like a quality piece. Anyway, I got 2080 super performance for roughly 2080 super money. I'm happy with the card.

2 fans are better: bit higher temp, more silent, but more performance because 1 additional fan eats bits of power from gpu. Also trio fans needs 1 rotating different side, so there would be less vibration. Or you could just lower rpm of triple fan, and get similar performance to dual fan. 3070 Is bit more powerfull, and eats a bit less power than 3060 ti. 3060 ti should be 100 dollar cheaper, but on market it's like 50 dollar difference, so basically it's worth to stretch a bit budget to get 3070. I would maybe even want 3070 ti, because it uses 3080 cut off chips, but release date will be only summer, due to shortages, and maybe it even get 12-16 gb vram upgrade... In the mean time rtx 4000 series might be introduced... Decisions, decisions.... Amd is in shadows, without dls, better rtx and better drivers, they will stay there for 2-3 years...
@Realhardwarereviews3 жыл бұрын
I agree on everything you have to say. If you got the cash, then a 3070 is a no brainer, but I would hold out until we have the ti version with more vram. Hence why I didn't bother upgrading yet.
