Great recipe. Just cooked it for the family and it was GREAT!!!! I substituted a cup of chicken broth for the pasta water and used only 1 and one half cups of heavy cream. Highly recommended!!

OMG!!!!!!! I just made this and had to comment and let everyone know to try this!! I actually used 5 cloves of garlic because my family loves garlic and everyone loved it!!! Chicken scampi from Olive Garden is my farvorite, I tried this recipe before, it tastes the same as I had in the restaurant! Instead of using heavy cream, I used evaporated milk.

I just made this copycat recipe and it came out delicious. The only thing is, I wish I had watched the video before I read the recipe, and got the ingredients together. The recipe doesn’t specify red onions, and it says to chop them not julienne them. In the video she uses red onions that are sliced. Still the flavor profile and texture was very good. Next time I make it I will make sure I use sliced red onions.
