Those are so so good. My grandmother use to bake them in a wood stove and then when it was ready she would scoop out the pumpkin put it into bowls put brown sugar and nut meg and cinnamon with warm milk! It was so so good. I miss those days 😢❤️!

Thanks muchly for showing us how to save, process and munch the seeds as well as pureeing the skin also. It is good to eat as much of a plant as possible and the squash family has edible flowers and new leaves as well. I also use Hallowe'en pumpkins after Halloween night so as not to waste real food - much like buying potted pine Christmas trees and planting them in the spring. If the pumpkins grew from heritage seeds that have had their female flowers hooded before and after hand pollinating , I save the seeds to plant next season.

I absolutely love pumpkin bisque and found it so easy to make! Better yet, I eat it in a baked half shell so I can scrape more pumpkin into that creamy, spiced bisque. For seeds I'll marinate in Lee & Perrins Worcestershire sauce. Cooked pumpkin keeps well frozen. I've kept cooked pumpkin frozen for a year (not on purpose) and it still made good bisque.

Only 20 seconds into this vid and you got yourself another subscriber! My family doesn’t really celebrate Halloween but I have always bought at least one pumpkin every year and taken the seeds and guts out and fry or roast them in the oven. Absolutely one of my favorite snacks ever! My kindergarten teacher did this for my class ohhhhh way too many years ago to mention lol. Thanks for sharing this bc I never know what to do with the rest of the pumpkin. I hate to waste it and I have one sitting in my kitchen floor right now that I will be following this video with when I cut it!

When I baked pumpkins one time, I let them sit a longer time than I was going to before even turning over. I found out they "fell out" of their skins. They were easy to peel the skin from that way, so I continue to do it.

Dear friend, I have watched your vedio how to make pumpkin butter. My suggestions is, you add all spices and sugarcane sugar mean jaggery without grading. You don't reverse it . Put all the ingredients and cover it stainless steel or any metal plate. Jaggery will melt and make liquid inside pumpkin for too cook well. You will know by experience. If you want you can sprinkle some water. The idea is to cook pumpkin and bread together without loosing time. After cooking you mix and remove, believe me, it will be more delicious. In Fiji Island they cook sour pumpkin vegetables in marriage. You can surf the site. Please visit Turkish pumpkin cooking in oven they serve the pumpkin as delicious sweet in various ways. Love you, with lots of respect. Namh shivay. Dear friend. I Want to share one recipe with you. You remove juice of beetroot and make bread by adding this beetroot juice. When you will cut the bread inside it will be red, very nice color. Now you make slices and put the pumpkin butter on the top. It will give another look and test. You can share this recipe with fivestar hotel or hospital or hostel. Red and yellow will make nice colors and beetroot make bread little sweeter. Beetroot pulp you use for making jam. Namh shivay.

you did it wrong. don't cut them open first. alot of pumpkins can be moldy inside and youll spread the mold all over your kitchen, instead ya just roast em whole until its easy to poke em with a knife then the mold spores will be dead if it has any. Also it's soooooo much easier.
