This is a dryer that I remember very well from my childhood, even though they’re older dryers they are good dryers the only flaw with these is that the rear blower belt can get brittle or break over time which I think is why people wind up throwing these dryers out.

This is actually my childhood dryer, I remember it back in 2010-2011 when I lived at my grandparents house, today, that dryer is still going strong today and my grandparents have been through 4 washers over that time.

Quite a surprise seeing this model in Australia. I'm from India and my parents have had the Indian version (branded IFB Easy Dry 550) for 20 years. Any idea if the Australian models were made locally or imported from India? The one I have was made quite close to where I live.
