Unforgettable comedy. I saw this as a child in the 90s and most of the jokes in these highlights - and more besides - stayed with me till now. "The Bart, the", the rakes, the cactuses, The Thompsons, the chainsaw, the electric eels, the light opera. It's staggering how much they fitted in to these episodes.

I think this was when the show hits its stride and the older gen viewers just wanted more slice-of-life episodes. 7th grade me thought this was hilarious! No contest though: 1999 was when they definitely jumped the shark!

Cape Fear is one of those rare exceptions where the remake is superior to the original....and Deniros performance of Max Cady is not only one of his best and most underrated but one of the all time greatest performances ever! Fantastic film and I ADORE this Simpsons parody 😆
