Always liked the KN Mercury's back in the day, they really suit a Mini of any type. I think the Budget Clubman would have been great on a set of 5x10's without the need for arches.

Thanks I do love the Mercury wheels they looked ace on my old clubman estate. Very lightweight wheel to.

I've got the exact same belt file, and it's one of the best tools i've bought! when you get to the stage of cavity wax protection i reccomend Dinitrol, its number 3321 or something like that. Great stuff, it's runny to start to get into hard to reach spots and gives great coverage.They also provide a multi spay attacthment which shoots the wax out at multiple angle at once.

@@SimpsonsClassics hard to say really. I feel like I redo a lot of things due to it getting tore up a bit when doing other jobs. I've still got some bodywork to clean up and it has to be painted. Along with this I have engine work to do and I'm in the process of getting a whole new wiring loom.. But I'm a lot closer than I was.

I'm liking the 10" wheels. It's the size I'd prefer on mine & I'll be interested in watching the conversion. I'm presuming you're coming from 12"?

Thanks yeah the Mrs wants this one to be full retro so this size wheel will be used. Yes we will be doing a 12-10 conversion the same as I did on my sidewalk. 👍
