Hi 👋 i like your beat up Mini Clubman . I live in New Zealand and we assembled the Mini car but not the Clubman model. They were brought in, in limited numbers already built from the UK.

The yellow clubman is gorgeous. I had the same colour on a V plate. It was a good, reliable car with no issues 😢

Interesting watching you in the Clubman - my dad has a 1972 Clubman estate which has been parked in his garage for over 40 years! He always said he'd get it back on the road but I suspect in the end he may well sell it for someone else to have as a project car.

What was the car parking issue?

The fact there should have been a creators area in Mayfair and the JLR marshals had messed this up, a few of us were scattered about. That teamed with just how rude they were wasn’t called for. I put a lot of time into this car to get it down the country. What made it worse was people wanting to see the car and they couldn’t find it or in some cases weren’t able to walk that far up to see the top car park. All in all was a blow after so much work, and a let down.

@@SimpsonsClassics Not the JLR marshals fault, there were told due to high number in attendance there was no set “Areas” for clubs. Rustival organisers didn’t say anything either. Best to meet up and travel into the show together if next year is the same.

@dragon8338 I wasn’t in a club stand. I had a creators spot just like I did in March. But the cars where all parked over it. I wasn’t the only creator to have lost their spot. It was the JLR fault for how I got spoken to. But like mentioned in my video, move on from it.
