Hey Barry! I am Qubic System's test driver, who helped develop the profiles and how the platform will work in the field of feeling. I am happy to see this review and I hope that you've enjoyed well our platform. I'm trying to do my best, to provide the best possible experience from real tracks to simulation, as a driver & simracer at once. Btw. guys, in case of any questions, feel free to ask anything 🏁

Thanks for the offer! And please excuse that I'm a total noob... So - if one dials down the movement, does it reduce the noise? I have a young child and don't want to wake her in the evening, but similarly want to be able to use full motion when I can! Thanks in advance and congrats on the awesome product!

Hi, few queries 1) Does it need regular maintenance ? or is it install it and forget it system ? 2) what happens if something stops working ? do we ship it back to your place ? or you have local office for repairs ? if yes, then in which countries ? 3) do you have any 150 mm travel actuators ? i am trying to compare these with PT-Actuators 4) What is the country of origin of Actuators ? Thanks

@@UTubeSL Hey! Sorry for the late reply. Below is my answer :) 1) to be honest, even with quick moves, there is a very small noise. So, in the meaning that, the platform will be in another, closed room, human's ear shouldn't notice any huge difference in platform's noise between any kind of mode or SFX / motion custom adjustment (expect exaggerated adjustments, such as x2,5 to any axis, etc. or any other extreme adjustments. However, the loudest effects could be hits from catching hard curbstones or driving on rugged surfaces, such as grass, etc. Another loudest effects which always be loud because of it's specific, will be any kind of vibrations, like engine vibration, rev-limiter or "rumble effect" from driving on kerbs, but there two can be reduced or even switched off. Basic movement in XYZ axis aren't so loud, so probably person who sleeps in room next to you, shouldn't have any problem to sleep - until you'll hit much curbstones or forget to turn off extra vibration effects :) Cheers!

@@DamianLempart hi Damian, honestly I'm just grateful for the reply - thank you! I'm debating between this and the Sinrig SR2, which is amazingly quiet. Your answer has gently nudged me towards the Qubic system!

@@michaelkopec.5814 hey, my answers will be below! ad. 1) Just plug & play, no extra maintentance or procedures. We have few motion platforms in our simracing showroom which drives on 10-20x more force & usage due to customers and only thing is to turn it on. Sometimes if customer will hit the wall very hard and platform won't stop on adjusted force limit, there will be overload information and only thing which you need to do, is to turn it off and then turn it on again. ad. 2) Every Qubic System product has warranty and every step is going by distributor from which you are taking motion platform. Full list of distributors is available on our website and we have them all over the world. You can also order it internationally from me, as I'm the "factory-level" distributor, so every potential issue will be solved directly in our HQ's. ad. 3) You can order QS-220 PL actuators with stroke of 100 mm and velocity of 800 mm/s and mount them on another steel rig, if you have already one. ad. 4) Country of origin for our every products is Poland. Everything is produced in our factory in Nadolice Wielkie, next to Wroclaw. We don't have any production abroad our country.

@nilssonerik762 жыл бұрын
@@Thisonegoestoeleven666 Nooo! Your initial comment about using SI units was reasonable and logical, but your speculation on date formats is just illogical. The ISO 8601 standard exists for a reason - it’s the logical way to format time-information: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS (and so on) works because larger units are to the left and you can keep adding smaller units to the right until you reach your desired exactness. With your illogical suggestion of a non-standard date format nothing works as it should, unless you are using a written language that writes right to left (then I guess a backwards ISO 8601 would work, where milliseconds are to the left of seconds and so on).
