Sims 2 but EVERY FEAR comes true

I remember last time I played, I had a Sim that feared being late for work, I think. Another one of his fears came true before he could get in the car for work (I believe it was seeing vermin), he had a mental breakdown that took so long that he missed the carpool. Then had ANOTHER BREAKDOWN BECAUSE HE MISSED WORK.

Yeah, from what i remember its easy to get into that unbreakable cycle, i had a sim who was hungry and tired; i made him eat something, hed complain about being tired; i put him to bed and hed woke up to complain about hunger. I had to use cheats to get him out of it 😖

Unless you have the mod (and considering your last livestream, you don't), walking to work does not fulfil the "go to work" want. Only carpool and driving owned car actually works. Another oversight of Maxis, duh!

Poor Ajay! I just got an idea for a challenge thanks to you: add, let's say, 10 000-20 000 aspiration points with a mod and then do your best to get to 0 without buying any aspiration rewards OR having a mental breakdown. This way you would have to balance between his wants and fears, and it should be pretty fun :)

What I've experienced about the wishes and fears of The Sims 2, that at every level there are their own wishes and fears, what will appear during that time. For example, when sim is fulfilled in sorrow, sim usually wishes for high wishes to be satisfied with his woes. But if their wishes aren't fulfilled and the nervous breakdown continues, sim will give up and wish and fear for the simplest and easiest solutions available to ease the sadness. I think :D ...

For the last question you asked about the wishes, my Dina also just got a nervous breakdown (Mortimer left her after she got pregnant with Don's Baby and she had a lot of stress taking care of 2 Toddlers and 1 Baby) and she got the wish to marry a rich Sim. For me it was like she wanted to pull herself together and she knew the only thing fixing all her problems, then only thing that always fixed her problems, was to marry someone rich so the same day she hired a nanny and went to Downtown to meet Mr. Big and a day later she married him. Also she was broke after Mortimer left her because they renovated her condo.

As for gaming competitions - these options appear when on current lot there are 2 or more computers, then your sim can start/join (already started one) gaming competition. After some time winner gets some money. Also interesting fact about this feature is, that when there are at least 2 sims taking part in gaming competition, not only their fun is filled, but also their social bar. @edit ok I didn't watched it to the point where you realised that XD @edit again and about autonomus joining gaming competition - in unmodded game it's broken, it depends on high literacy skill, which doesn't even exists in game anymore. I can't really tell if it's always the case but my sims usually have a lot of wants about kissing, asking sb on a date or flirting after not having any proper social interactions for some time (by proper I mean not talking at the table). Maybe it's because most of them are extremely outgoing... Only one of them has the family aspiration and she usually just wants more babies. Either way, it's amazing how this game works
