Tbh I had never really given these deceased sims much thought, but it was so interesting to learn about this play and watch all the scenes you beautifully presented with so much effort. I’m finding this series so incredibly fascinating. I can’t wait until we’ve covered every play with an Antonio in so I can draw my own conclusions about where Maxis got their inspiration from, I doubt any of him was really taken from this play as he seems much different and has a lot more depth. Amazing work again👏

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you're interested in Antonio too, by the end of episode 5 you'll have a lot of info on him ^^

Thanks for you videos ! I am actually making a video about the Capp and Monty and I was shocked to see barely anyone talks about this lore ! Tank you !

I know right! Veronaville is fascinating.

Wow Leto, I can't get over how well produced these videos are. You explain it so so well, and in such a way that it's easy to follow and deeply interesting. You time your reading of the script (I'm assuming) with the cinematic scenes perfectly. The scene where Julia dresses like a man and travels to where Valentine is comes to mind: things happen on screen just as you mention them and it feels incredibly smooth. Also, wtf is wrong with the men in this play??? 😂 Thank god it's a comedy and it's meant to be laughed at, that ending was really quite something.

Yep exactly, the relationships these characters have are beyond messed up lol I actually time the visuals with the audio recording rather than the other way around. I write the script, record myself reading it, edit all the bad takes out of that (I don't speak very well so there's a lot 😅), and then film and edit the footage on top. I can always play a bit with the length of the pauses in between sentences, but other than that it's the visuals that have to adapt to the recording. I'm glad you think it's working out, thank you for your kind words 😊

@@letomills Ah cool! I suspected that was how you did it 👏 It works beautifully! I think you found the perfect techique for it

I’m so excited for your next video!! I might use those name suggestions for future generations.

I'm glad! Yeah I like the idea of staying in theme for baby names in the neighborhood, I'll bring up more secondary character names in future videos.

Talking about adding your touch, I snorted when Valentine turn into a jester haha. Good timing. ^^ According to your summary, this play seems to be less well-written than Twelfth Night because there are few "plot holes". I suppose the modern live performance fixes some of these oddities. Thanks for your video. :)

Yeah, the ending of the play kind of gave me whiplash with how quickly the characters jump from one state of mind to another, but to be honest it just makes it funnier from how absurd it is, so maybe it was intentional on Shakespeare's part. Thank you for watching :)

...is it bad that i hear proteus's name as "produce"? If not, its just makes it even more hilarious And to be honest, the story itself flops a lot at the end in my opinion... But amazing video! Its giving me more ideias for my own game

Lol yeah, the story's ending left me speechless when I read it for the first time. Glad you enjoyed the video though 😊
