[Sims 4 VO Series] Raison D'etre - Episode One | SIFF 2017

aaaaand we're live, folks! turn on CC to guide you.
i'm not good with long messages (at least, not at this hour, but you know i'm pretty decent), but after a few months of experimenting, a lot of doubt, overwhelming support and sleepless nights, i've gotten back up on my feet and refilmed Raison D'etre in The Sims 4! i can't even tell you guys how excited i feel. seriously, thank you very much.
this revamp is pretty much reminiscent of the old series, and if you never knew of it, you can still check it out at my channel under the same name, but made with The Sims 3. the story still follows Reine Reynolds, but from a broader perspective, including the teenagers in this episode. i do hope you stick around and see them grow into their own bud.

i know i’m very late to watching this kajdnfnsjs 0:24- okay. right of the bat, this is SO aesthetically pleasing i cANT! wow! 1:00- this isn’t very important to the characters and plot LOL, but i’m a sucker for small details so i absolutely love this shot. how it’s focusing on the sneakers and the background is just blurred out, ahh omg! also the scenery is beautiful 2:11- this sound design is reaaaally nice 10:33- DID YOU ANIMATE THAT?? Damn, this is incredible. I can see why you won so many awards! Your shots are flawless, everything is so cinematic and pretty and the whole show has this retro vibe that I'm desperately in love with. The characters are great too!!! Oliver and Gene are my favorites already, but Quinn is really cute as well. I wonder what's up with her, that last scene was so sad. Speaking of last scenes... MIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO This was incredible I don't even know where to start. -Your captions had my dying the entire time. -Your dialogue is the most natural shit I've ever heard in this community. -You managed to make "mean girls" absolutely hilarious and three dimensional. I loved seeing them on screen -I can't commend you enough for getting the awkwardness of young adults down. I can't tell you how much I relate to Reine on so many levels. -Your overall filming is some of the best I've seen and this shit is in sims 4. Plus your animations were so fucking pretty. This is beautifully done my dear ^.^ the dialogue alone is enough to make me keep watching. I love how everyone interacts with each other and has their own personalities. It’s one of those things that make me think of how it was in high school. So many different stories to tell and so many different scenarios to play through. I love your writing style and your approach to this genre of storytelling. It reminds me of Life is Strange with the transitions and foreshadowing. Oh my god this is the first I see a Sims 4 series that is realistic and not over animated, you made the game look so good! I love that indie/hipsterish film feeling, the coloring is out of this world and the voice acting and the music are amazing, needless to say I’m a fan 😁 getting major Skam-ish vibes from the title screens, if you don’t know what I’m on about just ignore it haha

i love how so far i have seen myself in every single one of these characters. It's amazing. You've made them so relatable and I can not wrap my head around just how well you're able to create characters with such different personalities and yet write them like they're a part of your own. I can already find myself growing attached to these diverse and unique characters and I can not wait to grow more and more attached to the characters [or grow to dislike , who knows ;) (and the ships i already ship) and cheer you own as the series progresses. I already can tell that Eugene is going to be my favorite. I just love the dorkniness and his teasing. Oliver im also going to like I can tell.... actually idk, depends where you're going to go with his character >.> Benni and Faye I know from twitter (LOL), but I actually dont know if im going to like either!! Benni is way too upbeat for me and Faye seems like she has some mean intentions.....im not so sure. The ginger whom im not sure of her name (i think its Quinn?) i already want to protect with all my heart. The principle (Again, not sure. Was it Kurt?) I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FEEL ABOUT. LIKE. WHATS HIS STORY. DO U LIKE...LOVE REINE? WHATS UP WITH THAT. Annnnnnnnnnd Reine. Who I relate to the most. I never had a character in any sims series that I can actually completely relate to but with what ive seen so far of Reine i think she's the one. But im also kind of inlove with her so let's see if shes gonna end up being my wife or my spirit animal. maybe both. relationship goals. OH AND THE ANIMATIONS. MIO. THE ANIMATIONS. IM DYING. IVE ALREADY COMMENTED ON IT BUT like the LIP SYNC, THE MOVEMENT OF THE EYS AND LITTLE MOVEMENT OF THE HANDS, HOW THE CHARACTERS INTERACT WITH OTHER. MIO IM SO IMPRESSED BY YOU. YOU HAVE NO IDEA. I love it so much. This deserves endless applause and celebration and while i wish i had the chance to celebrate it sooner, it sure was worth the wait and more.
