The game is really starting to evolve, now hopefully they’ll add a search bar to the home store and/or sorting by colors. And I feel like they’ll keep upgrading the sims’ looks.

Yes they didn’t add more faces, they just upgraded the current existing ones… more types would be great along with more makeup as you suggested. For now I’m happy with the changes and hope it’s the beginning of more changes 👍🏽🌺

I think after updating… we all got the same default make up.. i think it was meant for the lightest skin tone. Kinda looked like that british make up look trend on tiktok 😂😂 I just love the male asian faces.. hopefully they add more..

So my stance on the change is this: I think it's great that they're listening to players and giving us a long awaited change! However, I think they could've done better as far as diversifying the faces. For adult female Sims, I don't like how they still have those weird faces that come with makeup on them. I think we needed more face shapes that can fit a wider range of ethnicities, not the same ones just revamped. Again, they look MUCH better, but this isn't quite what players have been asking for. Customizing facial features and body types might be too advanced for Sims freeplay, but providing new face and body presets would be a great improvement. I hope these things will come in the future!

It’s not, they could easily have added it years ago. They are lazy with the sims FreePlay until now bc they are the next sims project will be on mobile too! Which is grate! The announced it. So to me, this sounds like a test for what they trying to do. Eventually we’ll get customization and diversity a long with more options. They are using the sims FreePlay to create their next mobile game. Or testing what features could work on mobile.

One of the best features in the update was the incorporation of male hairstyles with female hairstyles and vice versa (accessories too)! A lot of ladies wear shorter hairstyles like the males and I think it fits the female sims so well. I thought it was such a great addition to the game! I honestly didn’t like the update at first because I wasn’t use to it, but as I continue to play, it really is growing on me. I just would like better makeup, their eyebrows to be a lot thicker, and the contours of their faces to be more proportioned. Other than that! I’m enjoying it so far!

Indeed yes! Male selection hair cuts on the female sims turned out fantastic! I’m still playing around with all the sims new features and it definitely is growing on me. 🌺🤓

I think a colour wheel should solve the completion/texture problem, I don’t know why it’s not been given… maybe it’s technically impossible for the developers to add it to the game, who knows. 💁🏽‍♀️

Before watching your video, I was mortified at the changes as I had grown attached to how my Sims looked over the years. Now I am being a little more optimistic and I’m making new Sims to create new memories which is actually really fun! LOVE the androgynous hairstyles! Obsessed!

Tbh these "new faces" is a total gamechanger for the whole Sims FreePlay experience and eventually we will get used to it. Just breathe and let's just embrace it and look forward for more updates to come in the near future. Talk about body shapes, different types of tabs for accessories like shades, necklaces, earrings and watches as well as different type of tabs for tattoos and makeup AND now that the hair are all for all genders, we badly need color swatch option (for CAS and Homestore) because of large amount of items to scroll. Anyways, the new update is such an amazing theme and screaming celebration.✨

one thing I did notice when having pictures of both versions side by side was that every skin tone in the game got a bit darker now. I hope that is a bug and gets reverted or they add more shades. Besides that the new faces look awesome and stunning.

There is no facial diversity…. No faces to reflect different ethnicities.. they can’t seem to get anything right literally. We asked for better faces they gave us 3 variations of the same thing.

i stopped playing this game since the beginning of this year and just got back to playing it this week; the exact moment of this update. and I can't help but notice something different about my sims at first until i realized that their faces were updated. i honestly didn't like the update at first because i was so used to the old faces for so many years now. but it quickly grew on me seeing how everything is actually smoother and better now thanks to your video.

wow, this is really nice. i’m a little sad though because it seems my favorite face is gone. (i think it was the 4th one) the nose was a little broader and it made for a perfect asian or black sim - the one you used on ebony in teeny issues. i really love that cute face 💔 wish they would’ve given us _additional_ faces. welp, i probably won’t be updating for some time lol 😅

The face changes were such a disappointment 😭😭😭 they all look the same, they're glitchy, they aren't culturally diverse at ALL, just ethnically ambiguous. I feel like they could have updated the older faces, and added more, diverse face shapes and that's it. Not switched it up completely.

I’m pleased they are making changes but there needs to be more make up choices for darker skin tones as so many of the lip colours look like very old fashion make up for darker skin tones.

I really appreciate it they are truly trying so hard to make this game awesome and I’m loving it my only problem is that I want them to bring back the hair Solon and the chic Boutique and the cat hairstyles for the teenagers some people on Facebook are complaining they are so ungrateful yes it’s not perfect but it’s definitely better and beautiful than the old one the sims 4 characters are Gorgeous I hope one day we will be able to make our sims look like that but I’m definitely okay with this for now✌🏻😎😉👊🏻

Although it could do with some work, I'm overall pleased with the update as its LONG overdue. I hope they'll seriously look into implementing a colour wheel of some sort and more ethnic features as the darker skinned sims look unflattering with this update. I also hope they'll add two more age groups, namely middle-age and young adult (university age) sims. A university, airport, vet with new and interactive careers would be nice too where even elder sims can be active aswell. My well wishes are still with you and your family x

The one thing that kinda throws me off is the hair, the hairline really levitates and if u look closely u can see their scalp. I feel they upgraded the face but hoped everything stayed the same

Yes they certainly haven’t sorted out hair/hairlines and makeup … there’s still much more to be desired like body types and shapes also. It took them 10 years to upgrade the sims faces, I worry about how long it would take to make further desired changes. 🧐🤓🌺

I just want them to do something about the length of tasks, I really don't understand whose idea it was for the task to take real amounts of time, there are things that take up to 24+ hours to do and it's very inconvenient!

I don't like it at all. And it's not even because I didn't want a change it's just because the women Sims, their faces look so damn masculine. Heck... the man Sims faces look more feminine, than the ones women Sims have. And they eliminated the white pale skin of the skin choices. That's not diversity. My only hope it's that they return the old faces to the choices section or that they fix the new ones. Im the contrary of you, i deleted all my Sims until they fix them.

Yes! I see that the pale skin option is gone … I hope the SFP team note all the feedback and listen to what the players want. I feel they should have added to what was already there so as to include players who might not like the changes. Many players don’t like the changes at all. You know it’s beginning to dawn on me that for players who can’t stand the change, the game has been completely ruined for them.
