Wow, your orders are so much better than what I’m getting as a platinum dasher. $7 to shop at Lowe’s and drive 5.5 miles where I’d have to drive 5.5 miles back to get anything else is very typical for what I get! I haven’t seen anything over $10 in months. I have to stack $5 for 2.5 miles all day to meet my $150 goal. It’s exhausting

I just finished a great day of delivery! $247 in 9 hours. With a scooter, because the weather is nice. My cost? Pennies... I love this business! Every customer I meet is happy. Every "Leave at door" customer is happy to get their food. I buzz around for 9 hours on a scooter and take home $200-300 a day. Work? How is this work? It is service, and paid... but "work"? Nah, this delivery thing isn't work... it's just a thing we do that pays. Drive happy, ppl. Earn if you know how.... Cheers

@danielle5980 I deliver all of the "trash" orders nobody else wants; keeps me busy all day. $2, $3, all the no tip orders. There's plenty of them. Then I leave a business card with the delivery offering $5 flat rate private delivery. A customer just orders "takeout" and texts me a screenshot of the receipt, then I pick up and deliver. I don't have enough downtime to get bored; I'm running a queue all day long. $5 per trip, 1-2 miles, ten minutes or less. So many people want "cheap" delivery that my phone never stops buzzing. I'm as busy as an Amazon driver... just better paid and no boss.

Had three UberEATS customers today compliment my delivery service... one was from like 3 months ago... I get a nice offer heading towards home. I take it. Guy starts messaging me, "hey, aren't you the guy who helped me out last time?" I mean I don't know who you are, and won't know your address until I pick up and confirm your order... none of which I tell him. Customers don't know that we don't know who they are. He says, "you helped me out that time I had to change address." "That's something I do, so probably... can you give me a bit so I know for sure?" Because all I know at the moment is first name and last initial. Times the 10k deliveries I do in a year... Addresses, I remember like Rainman. First names... not really. I picked up the order, and Uber showed me the delivery address... still no bells ringing. I ask customer if they need this delivery address changed. "Nope," they reply, "you were just really cool about the last time, and I wanted to tip you extra if you were the same guy..." South East corner of Liberty and Sierra, meet in the parking garage left off S. Sierra... address was changed to 850 W 11th St. You wanted the order delivered to your girlfriend at your house, but you accidentally ordered to your business address. It was a block out of where I was already going, so no problem. I can't remember names for anything, but addresses are forever. That was you, right? Liberty and Sierra? Changed to 850 W 11th? That was 4 months and 2k deliveries ago for me. And I'm still getting extra appreciated and extra paid for it... People I don't even know are just happy for something I once did... and they want to give me money. This is the best small business ever!

Platinum in a somewhat small market, Flagstaff, AZ. So jealous of these $$ orders. 😢 But the trade off is I live in a gorgeous area with weather that I love. Triple digit weather in the summer would kill me.

I’m on my 4th week dashing and Uber eatsing in Vegas too. This week was definitely the most rough out of all of them. I made the mistake of listening the jaded KZbinrs and redditors and let my AR get too low so I haven’t hit platinum yet. But I’m 68 percent at the end of the week so I should be able to get platinum as soon as everyone else looses their platinum trial.

I've got 2 days of a 12 hour block scheduled for Clermont Florida. Hopefully it's good money those days. Busy part of Florida. Different zone and not much further down the road than my regular zone. Anxious to see how the pilot program pans out for the levels of ratings. Silver, gold and platinum.

Do you have times, when its quiet on both apps? When its quiet on both apps, like for about an hour, how do you stay disciplined and not bored, during these times? Im only asking as ive recently started Door Dash in New Zealand, and there are those quiet times which i hate and get so bored, and then just decide to go home, but but would love to do a long shift.

Yes, I go home during those times. 2pm - 4pm are the slowest out here. Perfect time for a break

You ever dash near UNLV? I live in Columbus Ohio the Home my alma Mater Thee Ohio state, and I heard that Ohio has a contract with Uber eats that every student gets free delivery. I don’t have Uber Eats plus campus delivery is a fight. ( Ohio state is massive)

While we get good orders cherry picking you have to take the cheap crap to keep your rating otherwise the cheap orders don't go.
