puliyogre means tamarind rice which is very famous in our Karnataka state and puliyogre also famous for in temple for Prasada (Prasad) Pongal is also famous in Tamil Nadu State also . Hi Sinful foodie: Pongal is the South Indian version of khichdi, it’s usually served with a tangy tamarind chutney. The round vada u had was Maddur vada (named after a place near Bangalore). It’s made with rice flour, rava and onions. You’ll get the recipe on KZbin. Bisi bele bath is uniquely from Karnataka, it’s a complete meal on its own. The spice varies from place to place, varying from super spicy to mildly spiced. We make it mildly spicy at home. Puliyogre is flavoured rice made originally by Iyengar Brahmins (Eye-yen-gaar), it’s not angry ☺️ as you were pronouncing. Loved the effort you took to explore Bangalore and Kannada language💖

Superb our southindian food .pongal is basically made with rice and moong dal .it is our traditional dish . Puliyodharai is tamarind rice . It is Superb and delicious. Awesome video

Maddur vade is from a place called Maddur, which is in between Bengaluru and mysore. If u want to eat the best pongal.. I suggest try the prasad at Iskon temple, Bengaluru.

Very good presentation and explained nicely. Correct local Kannada names of the dishes shoul have been pronounced with the help of hotel owner. Kannadigas are cooperative, friendly, caring and large hearted. PuLiyogare is correct name. Not angry dishes , it is Iyengary ( Aiyengary) dishes. We appreciate the efforts of the presenters.
