Created by the Münchner Songgruppe around 1970. This was their response to songwriter Wolf Biermann's quote "Soldaten sehn sich alle gleich, Lebendig und auch als Leich" (Soldiers are all the same, living and dead). Die Münchner Songgruppe chronicled here all the atrocities of soldiers done against the common people, from the Paris Commune to the Vietnam War.
