What a joy to perform this with Uncle Matthew L K Tan and the band!!

I think in every little boy there is a cowboy dying to get out and ride the prairies, plains, foothills and mountains of the North American West! Good stuff Jonathan! ;) And the plains and mountains of every continent, too! Us guys are all cowboys at heart, no matter where we were born! That's why we wear blue jeans whenever we can! :)

This song reminds me of my brother in law from Singapore who went to college in Missoula and fell in love with Montana and then with my sister. A great guy and wonderful husband and father. Not as cool as Jonathan, though.

I spent the 70s and 80s building chemical plants in S’pore and falling in love with the country and the “Singapore Cowboy”. My brother has lived in Missoula, by some coincidence to your post. Not much similar…except I love Both places and people!

did some research on this rarity. Few Chinese got there & had cowboy experience at that time (even now it's still rare to see). This song is a brilliant combination of oriental pentatonic melody & traditional american country music. It's really fascinating to see that true country music exists in Singapore.
