@@Surreal1640 Sarawak Laksa is more like Curry Laksa with coconut juice in it, but it also has tamarind in it to make it sour. But it is a subtle sour taste and not overwhelming. As a Singaporean, omg. When they poured the soup into the dry Banmian when it is supposed to be eat dry with chilli. Chili crab ain’t have the eggy of it and mantou is to have the crispy ones. crispy with the eggy chilli crab sauce, fabulous. However this is more of a watery chili sauce instead of it being more thick.

4:42 The chili is added straight into the oyster omelette ? I am not sure if Malaysia does it this way, definitely not Singapore. And the oysters are usually very lightly fried, not welldone cooked... Hardboiled eggs in nasi lemak? Its either sunny-side up or egg omelette. Mua chee looks the most authentic, as in resemble how Singaporeans have it. Nooo. The mantou for the chili has to be deep fried. In Malaysia, folks call that Roti Canai. In Singapore, call it Roti Prata. Murtabak is like the upgraded version of Roti Canai/Prata, bigger and added in with choice of ingredients like mutton, chicken, sardine, onions. Peanuts sprinkled on satay??? Sorry guys, I don't mean the comments, only hope to clarify some pointers. But then again, I always believe food will and has to change when it is brought to another country, so to adapt to the local culture and preference. So there is nothing right or wrong here. Stay safe ya.

Proud Malaysian right here, thank you for featuring our favourite food here!! •Melaka is a popular state in Malaysia that sells chicken rice balls. •We pronounced our pan mee just like the way you would say a Vietnamese "bahn" mi, so do that and you will be able to flaunt the local accent smoothly. •As for Nasi Lemak, the rice and sambal are typically the stars of the show, so that's how the local usually judge off a normal to good version. •Malaysia calls it roti canai (cha-nai) , SG calls it prata.
