Hello! thanks so much for this video; I just subscribed! I just picked up one of these at a thrift store & it seems to be running well. A couple of things--a) should I take it apart more than just opening the little doors and flaps to clean it? There were quite a few dust bunnies already that came out, and I'm wondering if I should be taking it apart more thoroughly to really clean it. b) it's making a kinda loud noise when running--sort of like a creaky/scrapey noise coming from possibly right behind the "backwards" lever. Maybe just a cleaning issue? Thanks again for the video!

Yes, take off the needle plate and slide the throat plate using a Overlock Serger teasers and an old toothbrush 🪥. To clean out your sewing machine. You can clean the upper part too.
