It doesn't matter if I watch young Michael singing this song, or hear him down through the years, he always has that beautiful powerful voice, and sings with a passion like no other. I love hearing Michael sing anything. He is truly called to spread the gospel of Jesus to the world with his voice. And after God changed his life, his beautiful and passionate voice is all the more powerful. I can see the change in his face, his smile and his voice. Never stop singing for our Jesus Michael! We love you!

I saw these guys, The Singing Americans, in Glen Rose, TX in 1986 and I'd never heard voices like Rick Strickland and Mike English. I have listened to their recording of this for years. If is such a pity that a song so meaningful is being used in this show.. Gospel songs that is supposed to give glory to God became a mere show....then people clap their hands at those who performed it.... Honoring men.... Oh the abomination of this in the name of Christianity.. God forgive us..... My late brother refused to watch these videos and I can understand why... It might come across as judgemental but have seen that what people do makes no impact on people's lifes..

Let me ask how you know why people are clapping? They could just as easily be clapping for the lyrics the singers are singing. You don't know their hearts, and neither do I. What I can say is whether or not gospel singers hearts are pure, and motivations good, God's Word is being proclaimed and they are being used and inspiring people.
