By far the best vocal explanation, exercises, and overall the "go to" place for extreme vocals on the internet. They actually breakdown the technique's and exersises plus tons more to help get you "screaming/singing" rather than beating around the bush to get you to 'Buy" something. Great stuff & top notch!

The most amazing part is that they actually have something to sell and aren't pushing the hell out of it. The content, both free and paid is incredible and they actually care about people learning instead of selling lessons.

I absolutely love the way you take time to thoroughly explain every detail. So in depth, I think from now on if a friend decides they want to scream I’m gonna send them to this channel.

David thank you so much for your lessons i really enjoy your vibes and calm. On this crazy situation we are living. Can you please do a quick video lesson about how sing high notes and warm up for that ! Send u hugs !

We just did a video on high screams: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKjVmXdufsaSjK8 It covers a bit about singing and warming up. If you’re looking for more range expansion stuff that’s definitely something we are going to cover in the future! Glad you enjoy the videos! 🤘

We have online courses 😁 between David’s teaching schedule and other creative commitments we don’t have the time to properly commit to a regular podcast! Maybe someday though! - Rilee (co-owner)

What type of microphone is best for recording death metal vocals?
@ExtremeVocalInstitute4 жыл бұрын
That is definitely a subjective question and a matter of opinion/what your budget is. We recommend Telefunken Elektroakustik for both dynamic live mics and condenser mics. Their quality is hard to beat and they sound fantastic. We record all of our content with a TF47 condenser. We will be doing videos in the future about WHY we prefer Telefunken over other brands 😊 Probably not the answer you want but definitely do some research into what you like as far as sound and what fits your personal budget.

Hey David, idk if you have as much knowledge about it as you do for screams, but could you make one or more videos about appogio? KZbin is seriously lacking this kinda content, and it certainly is a form of extreme vocal :p I've been trying for ages to reach those high notes like Candlemass' Messiah Marcolin did in the Tales of Creation and Ancient Dreams albums. And btw thanks for sharing all this knowledge!

Was this recorded in a one-take❓
@ExtremeVocalInstitute4 жыл бұрын
Yes! Our videos are all done in one sitting with very little editing (usually only if our dog interrupts do we chop something out to save everyone’s ears). None of these are scripted, we organize with general talking points and then David just goes! 😊
