Good job. Although Auto-tune still can't make a singer out of a tone deaf person. Auto-Tune was designed to help singers to achieve that perfect like pitch. You can hear it here trying to continuously adjust his vocal to C#. A professional singer would only need it to soften the edges. Now with all this said. Man it's still cool, and does this mean I too can become a POP star?...lol I'll keep my job just incase. Great video. -John

Auto tune is for corrections so your dumb saying don’t use it. Everyone uses auto tune even if you want to sound like a robot and most kids use it for learning experience to maybe be a star soon or have fun like a birthday slumber party.dumb people like you need to lay off and leave others alone. When a song/vocals are recorded, its almost always done in a studio. This can be a home studio or a professional studio, and they'll use software like Reason, Protools, Sonar or any similar program. if you want to know more, just google it or search on KZbin.

IWantMyVisionBack They will use something called "melodyne", which allows you to correct tuning without it sounding unnatural, and you can even correct rhythm and timing issues. Autotune is mostly used live, and that's why it sounds so bizarre (and honestly bad to my ears). Melodyne is used on like 99% of records.

It's a good demo of what autotune does. so nice to let people just float into the feeling of the song while autotune does the work. A sparing amount of autotune on a singer that's already singing on key actually sounds great. You only get that robotic sound if you completely turn the effect up. How do you think the super tight chords in pop songs are made? Even great singers use it to get those chords perfect.
