While Glee has left a mixed legacy there is no denying the amount of talent they had on board. The core cast and their celebrity cameos were rediculously talented. Lea Michelle as I said before is a machine and almost a stage/broadway style vocals Master Class. Kristen wows me everytime such a big sound from such a tiny lady. One of the last things I got to do in March of 2020 before we went total lock down was see her in concert. My husband bought tickets for my birthday. She's just so incredible. Thank you for posting this!!!

I thought here closed vocalization was because she was paying homage to Liza. Most of the singers from the Golden Age of Hollywood had this suave, seductive, transatlantic sound. I think everyone after Judy Garland sort of had iterations of this classic sound.

Lea Michele may be an unpleasant person to work with, but oh boy if she can sing. I never necessarily liked her or her character but I think she's born to be a performer. In this case though, I liked Kristin version more, I loved that vintage touch she gave to the song! My favourite performer on Glee remains Naya Rivera :)

It sounds like you have more of a nasal sound in your covers, yet it seems like you prefer a more open sound from your reaction videos (eg not liking how Phillip Soo sings). In your reactions, you can basically copy the singer to a T without any nasality-you sound very open and effortless. I don’t mean to be critical, I’m just genuinely curious. And an untrained singer trying to learn more ☺️ Maybe I’m crazy and not hearing things right 😂

I'm surprised people picked this, I would have liked to have seen you react to something which is either a live performance or is more distinguishably sung in character or not.. I think I watched that far into Glee and I can't for the life of me care enough to remember what her character's story arc was aside from being alcoholic. She might be in character, she might as well have given the cast a free lesson and/or just had fun with it. I honestly can't tell.

Glee had it's moments, but my biggest issue with it was how overly produced/polished the performances were...even if was just a character singing in the classroom...and their miming sometimes didn't match what was necessary to produce the notes some of them had to hit BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT that's just me complaining about Glee...Kristin is a GEM and i'm so happy i've seen her in concert

I may be in the minority, but I am not a fan of Kristen, at least in this role. My only expisure to her. Kristen sounds like she is having trouble finding the correct pitch. She is too in tune for the chords to work.
